Hi guys,

Site: http://www.occupyim.com or your city, e.g.: http://newyorkcity.occupyim.com/ http://oakland.occupyim.com/ http://sydney.occupyim.com/ (currently adding more at time of posting. If there is one not there you think needs to be up as a priority, please let me know.)

About: I've spent the past week working on a website from the ground up to hopefully help keep occupiers around the world better connected. The aim is to have one universal website that can connect individual protest sites.

Ideal use: The site is heavily optimised for mobile only at the moment (although still readable on the desktop), with an extremely minimalist design for extremely fast page loads (average page size is <2kb.) Intended use is for protesters in the local area to be able to communicate important messages, e.g. New York City: "Just a reminder that the GA will be held in 30 minutes." or Oakland: "Be careful of 34th and 2nd - cops have gone rogue!" That is just two examples, but how it will actually be used I cannot guess.

Why OccupyIM? It's fast! Pages will take almost no time to load on a mobile device. Registration takes less than 30 seconds. Just provide a username and password and you're good to go. E-mail is optional for future functionality. Ad/paid free. It is completely devoid of ads or other shameless money grabs and it will stay this way. -Simplest way yet to stay digitally connected in the worldwide Occupy movement!

Feedback: Please leave you feedback here or send an e-mail to occupyim@gmail.com I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this and know of any ideas you guys have. Feel free to ask me anything or leave feedback.
