Okay as some may know we are starting our own #OccupyJoplin and we would really be interested in knowing exactly how some of you started and also how you brung attention to the causes you are protesting.
We have a FB page and everything already. I personally would like to know before the actual demonstrations how did you get people to interact and be a part of the events and organizing.
Being a small mid-west town in the middle of bible country isn't all that helpful for us but we have gained some exposure with a link from the local newspaper and a few radio interviews,
But we are interested in more about how to get people more involved while planning, any ideas, thoughts, and suggestions we would all appreciate.
I am also including a link to our page so far so if someone(s) wants to really be helpful and look at it and tell us what we are doing right or wrong, and give advice on how to do better would be x2 as grateful
A CALL TO ACTION: This Thursday 10.13 is 'CLOSE YOUR BofA ACCOUNT' day. Bring this criminal to justice by closing your accounts, including moving investment from Merrill Lynch. Pass it on!
what are u taking a stand against? The fact that you made poor choices and ran up a bunch of debt, and now you expect someone else to help you with your debt? Get out!
