Forum Post: OCCUPY DC assault woman in wheelchair, elderly, children, black father

Posted 13 years ago on Nov. 8, 2011, 11:14 a.m. EST by electrictroy (282)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

"The woman in the wheelchair told TheDC cameragirl that protesters screamed at her as she tried to exit, and when she was finally able to get out,the protesters “tried to pull me out of my wheelchair and take my service dog.” The woman claims that nearby police did nothing while this all happened.

Good job occupy.

It's starting to look more like one of those College Riots (children behaving badly) rather than a serious movement designed to improve things.

Cointelpro from FBI.

Really? They look like they're only teenagers not full-grown FBI agents (especially guy who flashed his butt and his girl who looked about 16). I doubt your assertion.

[-] 2 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

And let's hate our entire Military because this ONE soldier killed a puppy a while back.

[-] 2 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

Of course the media is going to show every little discrediting piece of shit they can squeeze out of their mouths.

What media???

Most of those videos are posted by citizens with cameras. So what are you implying? That citizens are no longer allowed to share what they saw on youtube? Really??

Yep. The solution of course is to revoke the First Amendment, so fellow citizens can't show anything about your National Socialist movement. It's like taking a page right out of 1933.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

Oh did I say media? What I meant was crybabies...

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

Yeah I guess you're right.

These people getting beat-up as they tried to exit the building really should shut up. They should take their beatings like the _ s they are instead of whining about it.

/end sarcasm

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

Yeah, and we should all just go home too...?

[-] 1 points by screwtheman (122) 13 years ago

Yes go home. Your mob rule is hurting your cause.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

Mob rule? this is not a mob. Who's the one parading their weapons around in a show of force?

[-] 1 points by screwtheman (122) 13 years ago

People are using the restroom in public and in churches. What about the vandalism in San Diego of throwing blood and urine at street cart vendors for not giving them free food. Why do you deserve free food.

This isn't just one incident. It's more like 30 incidents. As Rachel Maddow (socialist) said last night, "I support the movement but what's the point of imprisoning people in that building? I don't remember reading that in the civil rights playback, and ultimately will just backfire as the public turns against them."

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

Do you really want me to count how many other soldiers have fucked up since 9/11? And some didn't get nearly as much negative media attention as we're getting now.

It was 5 a.m. with a crowd of dumbass (probably under some sort of chemical influence) teens. What else can you expect when you get a bunch of overexcited dipshits together?

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

Not really.

I've been oppose to war ever since 9/12, 2001. Those soldiers really should be back home so no more can get killed (or vice-versa they shoot any more innocent Afghanis).

What else can you expect when you get a bunch of overexcited dipshits together?

5 am? The conference attendees they trapped inside left at 10pm (or at least we trying to leave). And how should they act? How about like the Legal adults they are. Or maybe like the Tea Parties acted. They never did this shit.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

sorry, i honestly had no clue what time was. I just made 5 a.m. up.

and i agree that some of their actions were uncalled for, but seriously...the old lady that fell, she fell on her own. There were not even any OWS within arms reach.

[-] 0 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

Bullshit. They were there causing the problem. Had they not been there, it would not have happened.

Quit making excuses for stupid shit people do and man up and take responsibility for your actions.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

And had Wallstreet not collectively fucked us over we wouldn't have been there in the first place.

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

And had Wallstreet not collectively fucked us over

Maybe you should have been calling your Congresscritters in 2008 instead of playing videogames (or whatever it is that you did). I mailed ~500 emails directing them to vote "no" on the Banker Bailout and another ~500 in 2009 to vote "no" on the Megacorp Welfare Bill.

I did my part. Where the hell were your friends? You had a chance to stop Wallstreet and you wasted it.

Too late to claim you were "fucked over". You ALLOWED it to happen by not speaking when you had a chance.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

In 2008 I was trapped in a psychiatric ward within the military. Cuz little boy dont wanna follow rulez and orderz so that make hime craxzy solder-- lock him up and force-feed him pillz.

I was imprisoned both physically and mentally in 2008.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

What? so you're bitter 'old-timer' who failed to make any significant change in your 'glory days'. Now you're taking it out on the newer, younger, sexier movement? Saddle-up Seabiscuit....

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

Typical.

Liberals/ democrats can't come-up with logical arguments, so they lash out like 5 years old with insults. All you had to do was answer the question : "Where were you in 2008? Why weren't you mailing Congress and demanding they vote 'no' on the bailout bill?"

You don't want to answer that, because you know you dropped the ball.

[-] 0 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

Sorry, that's weak shit. Was "Wall Street" there? No. Like I said, man up. Lame excuses like that just show more clearly what irresponsible idiots you are. That's why your support is vanishing and will continue to disappear.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

The hired peons, being the police (wall street delegates), were there. And what did they do to help? "Ma'am are you okay? Well, alright ima go about patroling...oink oink oink"

[-] 0 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

Again, a perfect example of fail. And why you're failing.

Carry on...

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

Good point. What is accomplished by imprisoning ~1000 people inside the DC convention center? And then beating them when they exit? Or blocking cars from exiting the parking lot?

Nothing. Childish bullshit run by children.

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

man up and take responsible for your actions.

"You're not my mother! Don't tell me what to do!" - typical Occupy DC person

[-] -1 points by Frankie (733) 13 years ago

And considering that some of them are known long-time activists in the DC area. I guess they must be operating under deep cover. ; ) lol

The sight of the woman in a wheelchair reminds me of the characters in the Brecht Threepenny Novel. Isn't blocking the wretched woman's exit - particularly when the door was locked from her side - so inhumane? She seemed so well prepared with her one liner about liberty which was even more touching. I wonder if teabaggers have a few of these for the front row while they hatch parochial schemes against the 99%?

[-] 1 points by thebeastchasingitstail (1912) 13 years ago

No response to this?

"None of the stuff you typed is in the videos? There's a woman in a wheelchair in the first one, complaining that she can't get out of the building.

Where is the part about "pulled out of the wheelchair" and "dog"?"

I see some asshole downvoted it, though.

Downvote the truth you pathetic toads.

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

Unfortunately there's no video of the wheelchair woman being accosted, but there's plenty of other videos where the ODC used children as human shields, used children to block roadways, beatup old men/women, and trapped a black father from driving his 2-year-old son home.

That alone is reason enough to dust off this label and post it here

  • "dumbass twits".
[-] 1 points by thebeastchasingitstail (1912) 13 years ago

Yea, I hear they pull the wings off flies, too.

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

No but they've been shitting in St. Catherine's Cathedral. Even the monks started saying saying bad words about Occupy.

[-] 1 points by thebeastchasingitstail (1912) 13 years ago

[-] 1 points by sudoname (1001) from Berkeley, CA 13 years ago

Pathetic. (speaking of course about the attempts to discredit OWS)

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

Occupy is doing that all by itself. It don't need any help. As Rachel Maddow (socialist-democrat) said last night, "I support the movement but what's the point of imprisoning people in that building? I don't remember reading that in the civil rights playback, and ultimately will just backfire as the public turns against them."

And discredited by whom? The media?

What media??? Most of those videos are posted by citizens with cameras. So what are you implying? That citizens are no longer allowed to share what they saw on youtube? Really??? Nonsense.

[-] 0 points by hollatchaboy (55) 13 years ago

whats happening here is that the leaderless aspect of OWS allows for anyone to do anything in the name of protest. If a bunch of intoxicated young white kids want to riot, no one is there to stop them and then the movement gets shamed. I support the OWS in theory, but much less in practice.

[-] 0 points by DonQuixot (231) 13 years ago

Some people believe they are OWS people and not CIA or FBI or plainsclothes polimence, and perhaps also believe in Santa Claus. Misinformation and lies are as American as apple pie.

[-] 0 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

[-] 1 points by DonQuixot (231) 13 years ago

Who says the CIA and FBI cannot use teenagers? 5 % of the population have pyschological problems. Do OWS people have to be 100 % angels? We believe what we WANT to believe. The question is WHY we want to believe it.

No, we should just take away their Social Security, food stamps, and Medicare. No need to beat them up

[-] 2 points by GreedKills (1119) 13 years ago

Yup let em be tortured by living the in the streets slowly starving them to death. Torture is as American as apple pie!!!

[-] 1 points by thebeastchasingitstail (1912) 13 years ago

If they yell too loud, waterborrd 'em.

Torcha wurx!

[-] -1 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

Ronn Paul (who ye seem to hate) has vowed to increase Medicare and Social Security spending.

"We made a promise to the citizens, and we must honor that promise."

[-] 1 points by thebeastchasingitstail (1912) 13 years ago

I, personally, do not hate Ron Lawl.

I'd consider voting for him, actually.

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

same here

[-] -1 points by electrictroy (282) 13 years ago

jimmycrackerson called these old people "crybabies"

LOL. We've raised some great people amongst our college-aged, haven't we?

[-] 2 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 13 years ago

Are you kidding? Go ahead and jump on every miniscule act of counter-production to this movement... I'll build you a trampoline. You're almost as bad as bill o'rielly

[-] -1 points by gr57 (457) 13 years ago

I say let them continue. They'll either tighten up and start being peacefull rule followers or the cops will deal with them like they deal with all riots.

[-] -3 points by karenpoore (902) 13 years ago

Ditto and then they want us to feed them! NOT
