The system is broken. It doesn't matter who wins. Look how many on either side actually support us.

We need representation that is not bribed, bought, and owned by lobbyists. This movement has to continue to grow. For every one who demonstrates right now, there are hundreds on the sidelines that agree with them.

We need to continue and bring them all into the movement.

Imagine a party that didn't need campaign donations to win...

Ignore the twisted lies the other side tells...No, OWS is not "palling around with Terrorists," Sarah. No John, OWS was born in America... really. No Newt, OWS does not eat babies at midnight. No Herm, they eat pizza too, just like you do.

Just vote OWS and ignore the lies we know they will tell. Who needs campaign ads?

You are so right. That's why we have to grow. Yes they will try to use the movement. It doesn't matter who wins. When it's over the winners will be bribed. All of the legislature is "on the take."

I am afraid you are right that things may revert despite any minor gains. "Yes we can." becomes "but No We Won't." (Gotta be bribery. how else do you explain it?)

We have to "BE" radical campaign finance reform. Punish the big money campaigns with retribution.

Tomorrow afternoon when FOX news is running a story on how OWS is secretly planning "Death Panels" to kill off the aged when they take power...(or some other completely senseless lie to that effect) we need to hold it up for the world to see! Look at the crassness of it. Along with the righteous anger for the obvious destruction of the middle class, their blatant dishonesty is one of our greatest strengths. We see the crude dishonesty. Who wants to be so stupid to believe it? We need to challenge people to take a stand on that dishonesty.

That's how the media treated the Tea Party when it started. After a while you get used to hearing the lies and get immune to the insults...ie. "teabaggers" "racist", and all that. Just do what in your heart you know is right. Try not to resort to demonizing the other side. They may just end up as your best friends.

They hurt their own cause so much by jumping on all the phony and crazy stuff. Death Panels, Birthers, and talking about "second ammendment remedies" and "palling around with terrorists." Sarah Palin was knee-deep in that but there were many others. Listening to right wing radio and tv is a pretty disgusting experience but you have to do it to have a balanced perspective.

Seems you know exactly how the media sets things up then. They will do the same to the OWS movement. The reports of Nazis taking over, and communists, student loans, etc. You know how that gets magnified, and suddenly your work is hijacked into something you know it is not. You aren't asking for it any more than the Tea Party did. Hanging onto prejudices are emotionally draining and a waste of time.

Like I said, develop a thick skin and just do what you know to be right. Blaming "the other side" will only slow you down and murk up the water. Good luck to you all.

The trouble is having "stars" like Sarah Palin getting involved in all the zany stuff. You see her saying it. Bachmann is another one. These people hurt the movement. That's why if OWS has sense, it will evade that at all costs.

It sounds like you have the right kind of experience. Stick around if you believe in what we are doing.

Very good point sir! We need someone who doesn't belong to a party. Literally someone "fresh". America is being lied to every time something comes out of those politician mouths! All the candidates and their parties just want power. Using this movement as an advantage to tell the people "Oh everything will be alright." I won't be shocked if problems start to "shape up." I have a feeling that will happen and it will be all just a show. Too try and fool the people. I hope it doesn't work.
