I'm no a religious person, but occupy a "church" might send a more meaningful message. They pay no taxes, and are suppose to be neutral on politics yet they are part of most debates. All I say is don't be disrespectful while in them, the people that go there deserve to practice whatever they believe. My $0.02 http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1828.pdf
I thought this was going to be an extremest view. However, I found it to be rather wholesome. Thank you
Isn't amazing how much political clout these "churches" have in our society? I find it amazing, the number of priests that have the power to excommunicate' a politician for not doing as the "church" sees it should be done. And then how the politician will give power to that clergyman by capitulating and changing his/her stance again... The Church and State are separate for a reason - one always attempts to subvert the other for it's own reasons. The result is strife and wanton discrimination. The underlying problem in both is Greed. For power or money... makes no difference.
"you must bear in mind how many powerful adversaries we have aroused ever since the formation of our Society. As I just said, if the Theosophical movement were one of those numerous modern crazes, as harmless at the end as they are evanescent, it would be simply laughed at― as it is now by those who still do not understand its real purport ― and left severely alone. But it is nothing of the kind. Intrinsically, Theosophy is the most serious movement of this age; and one, moreover, which threatens the very life of most of the time-honoured humbugs, prejudices, and social evils of the day ― those evils which fatten and make happy the upper ten and their imitators and sycophants, the wealthy dozens of the middle classes, while they positively crush and starve out of existence the millions of the poor. Think of this, and you will easily understand the reason of such a relentless persecution by those others who, more observant and perspicacious, do see the true nature of Theosophy, and therefore dread it."

Well said!
You are WAY over educated for me. I have no idea what you just posted.
I don't even know what to say about this. They shouldn't be free from change because they are "Holy" but I do not think that would even send a message in a good way.
I prefer Bojangles or Popeyes.
