Forum Post: Occupy Charleston, WV - We support!

Charleston, WV, 13 Oct. 2011 ― A protest will be held on Saturday,15 Oct. 2011 in Charleston, WV in support of the “Occupy” protests in New York City and other cities around the world. This is a non-violent demonstration. Participants will be meeting at Ruffner Park at noon for origination briefings and marching up Greenbriar Street toward the state capitol and then down Virginia Street to JP Morgan Chase bank at 707 Virginia St. East no later than 4:00 PM.
Increasingly, people have begun to feel as if they have no voice in the government and that corporate interests and the influence of special interest groups are supplanting the voice of “We the People” in governance.
This is a leaderless movement with no sponsors. The participants do not hold to any particular political or moral ideologies, but rather are just regular citizens who want their voices to be heard by Federal and State elected leadership.
