The problem with our republic is the money that flows from NYC to WASHINGTON. Buy every ticket on the Amtrak NYC to WASHINGTON train every trip, every day, shut it down. The money will pour in. Start with what can be afforded and add more everyday. I will sponsor one ticket everyday. I am sure others will as well.
Capitalism is not the problem, the corruption of it is. Democracy is not the problem, the corruption of it is. Look around the world no systems is immune. The answer is for the people of the country to take back our rights. Little by little, occupy peacefully all public transportation. Shut down the system, collapse the economy by choking the arteries.
Then they'll listen.
Hmmm. Dramatic, but probably will not stifle the corruption of capitalism and will only create more traffic problems on I-95. Keep thinking about other effective actions that will actually influence the "right" response...
