Just wandering if anyone was occupying spaces in the City where you might get a lot of exposure like 30 Rockefeller Plaza, The Times Square are where they film the morning news magazines,...The NBC Today show, in particular.
Just a thought, if you do, be respectful, maybe carry a flag.
Yes, because if the movement is lacking anything, it's visibility.
Signage Ideas:
When the Rich wage war, it's the poor that die
Power to the PEOPLE!
Capitalism should work for everyone.
Get ALL of the money out of politics
and my fave: The Beginning is Near!
The Today Show would be cool. People already go there with signs. But instead of a sign saying "I love Matt Lauer" There could be a sign that says "The job creators are laying people off, lowering wages, and getting rid of benefits."
I like it.
Get in there and do it/. Live national TV... every morning. Just stand behind the anchors when they go outside...as soon as the camera comes on, start chanting....."This is what democracy looks like"...REAL LOUD!
That, or mock Wall Streeters...put on a cheap black suit and chant:
I would sell my soul for the all mighty dollar
I would sell my brother for the all mighty dollar
I would sell my mother for the all mighty dollar
I would sell you for the all mighty dollar
I would sell every protester for a dollar
Occupy the GoodYear Blimp, or the new Zeplines.
