The Occupy Wall Street Movement is at a crossroads.

The media attention will eventually die down. And as time goes by without a cogent message or list of demands, the zeitgeist of messages will eventually become background noise.

Suggestions for a list of realistic, competent demands that can be a focus for politicians to hang legislation upon.

  1. Repeal of the Bush Tax cuts.

  2. 2% Tax increase for those making over $1 million.

  3. Criminal prosecution of securities companies and brokers who sold and traded sub-prime mortgage bundles.

  4. Accounting of all "Bail-out" funds - with criminal penalties for misuse. Require public disclosure of the use of these funds.

  5. A 1 year moratorium on all home foreclosures pending investigation of proper ownership of mortgages. At the end of that year set all rates at prime interest rate for 1 year.

That could be a basic start.

Fuck the media. They are just corporations spinning our story for their benefit.

Now go read the declaration.

Nothing like expecting conglomerates to act out of their own interests.

How do you think those who do not follow the OWS movement are going to hear about it, if not the media???

Really?

Do you think the corporate media is telling the truth about OWS?

When you are in guerilla warfare you use the enemies tools to defeat them, learn from history. Abdicating the use of a primary resource for information dissemination is not only foolish, but plain stupid and defeatist.
