Forum Post: OBSOLETE jobs - its simple folks, we should all be working MUCH less

Just the other day, the electric company came by and installed a new Electric Meter. There was once a day when someone had to walk up and actually READ your meter, that made lots of jobs. Then, they figured out how to just drive by your house and read your meter - many less jobs. NOW, they figured out how to have a satellite read your meter - NO jobs.

I guess that means your electric bill will go down significantly since that entire expense no longer needs to be paid right? WRONG, they added a little something 'extra' into the bill to pay for the new meters. Amerika!!
