Keep pushing. Don't ever stop. Stay faithful. The people will win.
SO glad to hear this!! however this is old news this was reported a week ago and I posted it in this forum, I got about 4 comments, one that said smoke weed, some Ron paul moron said this is propagandd by which proves how much they really care about ending wars, and some other crap makes me think no one really cares about this.
My post is neutral. Simple statement of fact without any analysis or editorial position. The word "Obama" is a troll magnet.
I can only hope Obama will keep his word, however odd this might sound. Bringing even half of those troops back to US would make a LOT of difference to the people living in Iraq. They live in a constant fear of being seized and thrown to jail if not murdered by some foreign men who cannot be even prosecuted by local authorities. The Iraqi have their streets patrolled, houses searched and families torn apart just because some madman living thousands miles away wanted to shine and declared 'a war on terrorism'. And Obama being a current president is responsible for what happens to those people.
Every time I see people posting inaccurate statements I suspect a troll. The US has a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) with Iraq. It was actually signed just before Obama took office. It specified the Dec 31 2011 pullout date. Theoretically that could have been changed by amending the SOFA or replacing it with a new one. But Obama is sticking to the agreed upon date. The agreement also has provisions for our troops to be tried under Iraqi law for committing crimes over there. You can find it and read it for yourself if you're interested.
Meanwhile Obama is putting troops in Uganda, Somalia and other countries withOUT Congressioan approval. Not a Bush fan but for his wars he went to Congress for approval and on a Bi Partisian vote they were approved overwhelmingly. Obama chooses to sidestep this just as he sidestepped Congress with the illegal creation of Czars.
The term czars is Beck propaganda.
I see through Yepper. And you are correct. He betrayed himself and needs no further attenion. He's done.
First time I heard it was when Obama made the appointments. Never listened to Beck. But here is some Info on Obama's Jobs Czar who has closed American plants and moved them to China. Jeff Immelt and GE got $126 MILLION stimulus dollars despite making over $6 BILLION profit and paying ZERO TAXES at the same time. BaROKE Obumbler's $852 STIMULUS bill to create JOBS and start SHOVEL READY PROJECTS turns out to be a SLUSH FUND FOR CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTORS LIKE SOLYNDRA, GE, JEFF DOERR and STEVE WESTLY, other DONORS, fictitious zip codes,etc.. Obumbler blew $852 BILLION, NOW HE WANTS $450 BILLION MORE---SHOW US THE MONEY, WHAT DID YOU DO WITH THE $852 BILLION?? Criminals always return to scene of the crime, Obumbler's BACK TO STEAL MORE MONEY FROM TAXPAYERS! Millions went to foreign banks, $529 MILLION went to Finland to build hybrid cars, MILLIONS went to Hezbollah, MILLIONS TO CRONIES. The same type of CRONIES are on his JOBS BOARD! All we'll get from them is more LIES, DECEIT, FRAUD!
Just announcing the good news. Not here to defend Obama.
Don't you dare try to start a legalistic argument with me about the legitimacy of our military overseas in the last 10 years. There was no declaration of war against Afghanistan when the military was sent there in 2001.. There was no declaration of war against Iraq when the military was sent there in 2003. There was an Operation Enduring Freedom incursion into Somalia in 2006 without any congressional action.
Produce the declarations of war and the rollcall votes or shut up. You have zero credibility.
Bush went to Congress for both his wars and on a BiPartisian vote it was approved overwhelmingly. Democrats fuded it with their votes then refused to take any responsiblity for how they voted. Kerry's response "I voted for the war before I voted against it" On the other hand where was the vote for funding for Lybia, Uganda ?
No credibility. NONE. Show me factual informaton. Not your bullshit.
Senate voted: United States Senate ayes 77 nayes 23 Facts are stubborn things.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_Resolution lazy hippie. No wonder no one will hire you too lazy to look anything up yourself?
The Resolution wasn't a bona fide declaration of war for rthe military action that began in 2003. It only addressed Iraq and not Afghanistan or the incursion into Somalia in 2006. I gather all of my facts and figures before I post a single word. You don't know a thing about me so watch your tongue. Furthermore, I would need a reason why I should care what you or anyone else says about me, based on the scant data available to you consisting of exactly one internet forum screen name. Don't be mad at me if you have trouble finding what you need to support the bluster that you brought here.
Fuck you. It was a vote by the House and the Senate. Way more bonafide than Obama's wars. Yep they wren't a declaration of war but a vote to fund the police actions or whatever the government now calls wars.
