As you know, our rights are not being upheld by those elected to office through the corporatocracy. The following states have yet to set a standing request to congress for a constitutional convention under article v of the constitution.
Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massechusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin
This is our ultimate right if we want to reverse the Citizens United case that went before the supreme court. Taking the money out of politics, ending the fed, protecting voting rights and the Bill of Rights are all things that we need to stand for.
My call is to have everyone in each of these states to take action.
This will show you which states have ballot initiatives so that the petition process can move forward, but it also shows which ones do not. Pressure your state legislatures to stand up for your rights under Article V of the constitution.
Here is article 5
The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.
Targeting the movement. We need to use our rights under the constitution to call a convention. Anything that you are for is fair game in this process and congress has no authority to block it once a convention is convened. Here is your motivation, or at least a part of it.

Fight the good fight.
Citizens United WAS NOT ABOUT CORPORATIONS!!!!!!! Damn it you people are friggin thick. It was about having the right to express your opinion through advertisements during elections. The election law that was determined to be unconstitutional (rightly so) was McCain/Feingold. this bill made it illegal for any group or anybody to produce campaign ads for or against an opponent. That is absolutely unconstitutional. 100%
I guess you are in for the fight of your life. If it is an official position of a corporation of any type, for profit or not for profit, it is not directly from an individual. This is part of the situation that you do not understand. It is about the fact that if you have the power of a corporation, you have the legal right to stifle the voice of the common man through money, thus denying a private citizen his or her first amendment rights. If you think about it, corporations have been doing this for years and it has become obvious that it is not working. That is why many people are calling for the convention under article v. Let's see how your corporate friends and congressmen like that one. I believe in protecting the first amendment for indivuduals, not corporations that have ruined the rights of all people to fairness. Keep giving it all to the top because you are brainwashed or maybe one of those that are robbing the citizens where our taxes go to bail out banks or subsidize oil companies who then make record profits from gauging the consumer.

I am on board with this without a doubt. Cenk is one of the best in this fight as is Dylan Ratigan. A good friend of mine interviewed him for a brief moment at the meeting at Harvard about article v.
What state are you from?
Yes, by all means, CALL A CONVENTION and restore the Rule of Law.
What state are you from? Are you in one of the states that does not have a standing call in congress?
