If he decides to mix it up with Iran then he's not very smart. Iran needs a major reality check (or, more accurately Ahmedinejad needs to go, along with his Revolutionary Guard thugs and the theocratic system in general, and Mir-Hossein Mousavi (the leader the people actually chose in the 2009 election cycle) needs to take place) and the saber rattling with respect to Israel needs to stop. I don't like the way Netanyahu's government has been handling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and I've already said so on here several times. That said, having the Iranian president deny the Holocaust and promise Israel a one-seat ride into the Mediterranean is not helpful when you're trying to talk a hard-right Likud government out of stupid militarism.

As nice as it would be to deal with Ahmedinejad once and for all, it would be incredibly stupid to attempt to do so with force right now. Like it or not, Iran's now getting Russian and Chinese backing, which means that war with Ahmedinejad probably also means war with Hu Jintao and possible discharge of nuclear weapons. If Iran starts something with Israel or vice versa then God help us all; the absolute last thing we should be doing is egging on either side because the results won't be pretty.

Alex Jones is kind of crazy, but he's pretty spot on here.
