Forum Post: Obama is obviously torn every which way on the XL pipeline

Environmentalists are warning about a BP type disaster
The oil companies want more money
The oil is being refined to be sent overseas
Unions want jobs
Etc

It seems like a yes or a no is very bad in many different ways-
for the country & for the president.

How about another alternative that creates thousands of jobs
AND
Is much safer than the pipeline.
