Too much regulation makes it impossible for the little guy to start a business and compete. When you need a "license" to teach Yoga all you are doing is protecting the existing Yoga instructors at the expense of new ones.
Low interest rates are devastating seniors and the poor, no return on their money. Trillions in stimulus has caused widespread inflation which again hurts the lowest economic rungs of our society. The rich get the newly minted money first, before it inflates the market.
Limited government and the free market helps the little guy the most, because it is an EVEN playing field. Ever start a business and realize that unless you get a lobbyist you will be quashed by the competition?
Increase taxes by percentage on the upper class. Decrease tax breaks for the wealthy. Stop making the richer richer. Bring back the capitalism that our founding fathers established when the federal income tax was a progressive tax , meaning that people with higher incomes pay a larger percentage of their incomes as taxes than do people with lower incomes.
Spot on Frank! We need thoughtful and careful oversight, not expensive-to-administer regulation that makes the red-tape inefficiencies make the black market seem appealing.
See the book the creature from Jeckle Island,,,,,,,,,
Yeah, that is on my reading list, thanks for reminding me.
