There is hope but not because of the old grey lady.

Because Occupy has woken up millions of people, and emboldened many progressive groups to stand, & fight.

Years of hard work lies ahead.

I wish what you say were true, but I fear it is not, OWS seems more concerned with attacking the administration than addressing wealth inequality, there has been no front page stories or actions in support of the $9/hr minimum wage proposal from the state of the union address, perhaps because OWS would rather be independent of the Dems rather than address the problem.

Maybe, but that's ok. Because many progressive groups have been resurrected and are pushing the min wage increase effort.

Meanwhile Occupy is on the side screaming "that ain't enough! And I think we need that too.

That is hopeful. At least a good start.
