The people who think that they can just ignore this and it'll blow away are missing the point. The rich keep getting richer and more and more Americans keep getting poorer. The Occupy protesters are an attempt, perhaps a last-ditch attempt, by Americans to stop this process. But they are not the last option that the poor will explore to try to reclaim their dignity. Once American ideals fail, people will turn to the Mexican cartels, to al-Qaida and its cogeners, to emissaries from China or other rising superpowers - whoever is willing to provide some kind of hope. Though it may sound absurd to think that one day the Zetas could be standing in the White House telling the President what he has to do, that is exactly what happened to China in the 1800s after its century-long war on drugs had transferred so much of its wealth to the smugglers.

14 billion years before you and probably that much and more after you. Sandwiched in between is your very brief existence and what do you do with your evanescent self? You trivialize your own self with this petty nonsense. Get it a beer, turn the lights off and arrive at something original, then thrill us with your brilliance.

It really is humorous to watch you actually think you are living a revolution. Like what you are involved in is some kind of Renaissance. I'm sorry, you are not of a higher vibration.

[-] 1 points by RantCasey (782) from Saginaw, MI 13 years ago

It's funny to watch you post against a site that is just trying to hold accountable the wealthy.... Well the ones who took tax money to help themselves. where do you go from here to an anti battered women site and yell at them next??

[-] -1 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

Are you going to address the athlete? Also, I would post for the site if the the people actually had a handle on the situation. Maybe instead of people running around chanting nonsense and silly hand signals they organized an effort to change Washington.

[-] 2 points by RantCasey (782) from Saginaw, MI 13 years ago

What should they do??? They are Being heard they are spreading the message and they are nudging people to make change. It may or may not succeed ?? Who knows?

[-] -1 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

They are turning people off at a higher rate than all other variables. When a 21 year old qb is saying it, it might be time to listen.

If you want to save the movement, the tactics will need a dramatic overhaul. You have too many idiots on board taking you down.

[-] 2 points by RantCasey (782) from Saginaw, MI 13 years ago

A. Who cares what a lil kid has to say his wordly experience is short and narrow. B. He just believes the movement will fizzle out. C. I like that he is calling people out... I thought he was showing how people quit on an idea and don't really do anything for change.

[-] -1 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

Here's an idea. Lose the moronic notion that we are somehow connected to a revolution happening in Egypt of India. That about takes the cake on dumbest things ever said.

What would you fools have done before the Internet?

[-] 2 points by RantCasey (782) from Saginaw, MI 13 years ago

Who said I believed that... Copy one post that I said we were controllingthe revolution in Egypt??? I sure haven't. And I can't say what other people would have done before TheINTERNET. What would you do before toilet paper who cares?? This is a world with Internet get over it times change.

[-] 1 points by sinead (474) 13 years ago

Uh.. he did n't say you controlled the revolution in Egypt.... he said you (OWS) feels some how CONNECTED to the revolution in Egypt..... which I have hear from OWSers before.... "our comrades in Egypt".

[-] -1 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

Prove yourself Casey. Let's see you call out one of the countless people on here acting like this is an extension of Egypt. Seriously, how ridiculous can it get?

[-] 1 points by RantCasey (782) from Saginaw, MI 13 years ago

I dont see it tell me where?? I dont know how ridiculous you can get?? If you are talking about how they compare tactics used in Arab spring who cares? I'm sure there are similarities.

[-] 0 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

It's all over this board man. Even Stevie Wonder sees it. It's all over the web. Countless people are convinced this is an extension of the Arab Spring. What a great way to turn off the masses.

[-] 1 points by RantCasey (782) from Saginaw, MI 13 years ago

Ok so what it isn't exactly you want a cookie. It is told they are using the same tactics. You sway things to help distract. If you don't like the movement leave the boards. You weren't forced to come hear. I don't go into a kkk chat room and point a finger at them all day disagreeing with them. It's pointless. Go back to watching football for all I care.

How about you start being a better representative for the United States. Stop exploiting people who are less intelligent.

[-] 1 points by RantCasey (782) from Saginaw, MI 13 years ago

Sorry for exploiting you.

I'm not your puppet. I am free.

[-] 1 points by Vooter (441) 13 years ago

And what are you doing? NOTHING. Just another mediocre, time-wasting eater from Jesusland. Why aren't YOU leading a march to Washington? You're pathetic....

[-] 1 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

I learned long ago to save my energy for the correct battles.

[-] 2 points by Vooter (441) 13 years ago

I assume you're referring to the upcoming city council battle over the controversial new stoplight that's planned for Idabel....

[-] 0 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

LOL You can't even see how you are your own worst enemy. You meaning those like you supporting a futile cause. If most of America doesn't go along with your Yankee uprising, just pretend they aren't citizens of the same country.

Good job.

Oh, yea. Anything can happen. Cyclones beat No. 2 Cowboys, USC beats No. 4 Ducks, and Baylor beats No. 5 Sooners in one weekend. Anything can happen. What are you gonna say when the Pigs beat LSU? Luck, no way. The center cannot hold. And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born? That beast is OWS taking it to the house. We are tired of that boot stamping in our face. 2+2=4, not what the 1% demand it to be.

We're going to incorporate OWS, distribute one share per supporter, fund raise with taxpayer money, form our own AP-like service and then began a hostile takeover of all the corporations that provide our basic services. Then a plural executive in the WH, direct online democracy, education online and an array of other ideas that will place us in history not only as the most courageous but the most creative revolution of mankind. No more genuflecting to the man, it's over. Join the winning team while you have a chance.

Rex, don't forget that scene in Nicholas and Alexander when Nicholas is departing the front on a train bound for Moscow to reunite with his beloved wife and family. A staff general informs him that an uprising has started whereupon Nicholas ask him to call upon his generals to manage the uprising. He is informed that the generals have defected and that his palace has been surrounded. The look on his face has no equal. I love that look, that scene more than any other in any other movie. Nicholas now knows its over--300 years of Romanov rule. He never thought it could happen. Never. History is repeating. The impossible is going to happen.

Even if Arkansas beats LSU, I still think Bama and LSU are the best teams in the country. I am glad my Sooners lost now instead of getting blown out by either of these teams.

[-] 2 points by hamalmang (722) from Lebanon, PA 13 years ago

That was completely pointless.

[-] -1 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

????

[-] 1 points by Vooter (441) 13 years ago

LOL...the trolls are getting a little desperate. "And now, to present our case that Occupy Wall Street is a failure, we'd like to turn the microphone over to Tommy Rees, a 19-year-old college quarterback. As a high school senior, Tommy threw 23 touchdown passes for Lake Forest High School in Lake Forest, Illinois, making him uniquely qualified to comment on the pros and cons of modern political movements in the United States. Tommy, take it away!"

He's also one of the top scholar athletes in the nation.

[-] 1 points by Vooter (441) 13 years ago

We're supposed to be impressed by that?

[-] 0 points by RexDiamond (585) from Idabel, OK 13 years ago

Sometimes common sense is learned early in life. Sometimes it is never learned.

Rex Diamond - Watch the movie "Inside Job" before you post another thing on this site again. You have not the slightest idea how ignorant you are and how little you actually understand about how our government and banks purposely destroyed the global economy. No one cares about what the Notre Dame quarterback thinks outside of Idabel Oklahoma.

Here is a link for you to the documentary. Seriously, do not post again until you've watched it in its' entirety - because until you do, you cannot consider yourself an educated American citizen. I truly mean every word I've said.

I don't follow football. I don't know who Tommy Rees is, but politically speaking, not to put too fine a point on it, he's an ass hole.
