No one really knows what you stand for. For me, Corporate greed and out sourcing is the root of my anger. You can not lay everyone off, out source the jobs and then the CEO takes a massive bonus. Look at HP Mark Turd.

I totally agree. This should be demand #1! We DEMAND that corporate America STOP sending all of our manufacturing jobs to slave wage nations like China. It's very simply CORPORATE GREED and it's DESTROYING America's middle class and the American Dream.

Out of this movement, needs to emerge a clear message - one that is positive and specific. We have had Womens' rights, Gay rights, Veterans' rights. How about Citizens' rights? Have a committee propose 10 specific demands for discussion - eg right to affordable healthcare, right to honest transparent government, right to safety (gun violence), etc.

these are all good messages. i agree that they should all be our main message.

I'd say the absolute epicenter of the problem is the undue influence of corporate and private money in politics. Every other issue - such as corporate outsourcing - stems from the fact that companies can essentially purchase Congressmen and buy legislation.

This should be at or near the top of OWS's list of demands.

But the shareholders decide. If you are a shareholder in the company you have a voice as do the others.

If you don't like what the company does, don't buy their stock. Don't put your money into 401k's that buy their stock either.

Don't put your money into the system.

Did you know if you receive a check drawn on a Capital One account you cannot cash it unless you have an account with them?

That's not the banks fault, it is the govt.

I agree with the need to hem in corporations. Here's one way me might achieve that in a big way http://occupywallst.org/forum/proposed-list-of-demands-please-help-editadd-so-th/ . Please see tactics.
