Forum Post: No need to Occupy

1). Close your bank account, and join a credit union....its run by you 2). Cancel your credit cards....dont quit paying them or youll regret it, just dont go any further with spending. 3). Buy as little gas as possible, ride a bike, a skateboard, or walk to any and all destinations that are reasonable. 4.) Educate yourself on any issue you have a question about...google is a great place to start. 5). Buy your food at the local farmers market....they dont sell potoato chips from big companies, so you may have to get a recipe to create your own 6). Give your business to local merchants...quit buying your clothes at the GAP 7.) Stop upgrading the smart phone you have, stick with the current model as long as it will last 8). If you can survive it, turn off your cable tv 9). Get a water filter and stop using 12 oz plastic water bottles. 10). Pool together, smarten up and make a daily difference so silent that they never see it coming!

Just my 2 cents on how you can make a contribution without occupying any downtown streets
