Forum Post: No Guns Please

I hear that some people are talking about bring guns to the Occupy Wall Street protest and this is what I have to say, and I am all for the rights to bare arms, but this is not the right place or time to do so. Here is why. Anyone that brings guns to the protest are only setting them self's up for a big fall and that will only make the movement look like the bad guy in everyone's eyes including some that may be looking to support our movement. We need all the support from as many people as we can and by bring guns it will only take that support away and they will not help with the much needed funding that is needed, if we are going to be looked at as a true movement that can get something done we must keep our heads about how we do it! Bringing guns is not keeping our heads, it is only making things worse for the movement. Gun have never be the answer, and if someone gets shot or even killed that would be the end of the movement and we have worked to hard to get this movement going! So please lets fight them with our brains not guns! God Bless The U.S.A
