Forum Post: No earmarks on the OWS agenda. Environmentalists may be killing the movement.

In the 99%declaration(I don't know who these people are) which I guess some people are saying represents OWS as a whole there is an earmark for a carbon tax.

Here's the problem: 1) a carbon dioxide tax will cause your electric bill to go up. I know this isn't right but the company's who get taxed by this won't just eat the tax. They will pass it on.

2) CO2 we know is a very good gas. It feeds the plants and at the same time they produce a byproduct of the photosynthesis reaction which is oxygen gas. This makes us happy and is scientific law.

Excess CO2 produced by man that causes global warming is a theory. And that theory is proposed by many with vested interests in the money making scheme of a carbon tax and credits.

This has no business tagging along with the OWS agenda. It demonstrates that OWS is partisan and that special interest groups have infiltrated the movement.
