Down by the front lines of OWS, we interviewed a protester named Jacob Reeves earlier today. He's been at the protest since the beginning, and plans to stay as along as possible. He is not afraid of the cold.
"There used to be hippies, then they became yuppies. Some people have started calling use nippies, because we are braving the cold. We're getting a lot of attention and a lot of support from all kinds of people. We're ready to nip it until we see some buds in spring."
To warm themselves up, some have resorted to dancing and rapping. They are known has nipsters. Their songs portray the problems the youth are facing today in our grim economy.
One student, Clara Parks, has started knitting to warm her hands at night and help her fellow protesters. The gloves and socks she makes are labeled "nippie knits".
Clara told us of her plan to raise some money with her creations. "I want to make a little money for OWS by selling these Nippie Knits at the entrance of the park. When I finish the first batch for the protesters, I'll open a small stall on the south side and sell my creations for a low price. We all need to stick together!"
Clara is a capitalist bastard! Hahaha
