Every time you get a credit card application in the mail, you should be sending it back (not filled out) in the postage paid envelope. It helps the post office and costs the banks postage and processing fees! I get about 5 applications per week, which means I'm costing the banks at least $100 per year, not counting the cost of them having to manually deal with my envelope (which is often overweight because I include pizza coupons and things too).
Phone books are also good to send postage paid.
And after you send both of yours do you, what, go looking for them in garbage or see if the neighbors have a spare? Solid plan though.
Bricks, dirt clods or even garbage might be fun.
And they fit right in those envelopes. Again, you are thinking!
The envelopes can be taped to packages silly.
Not sure that would work but I like how you think.
Thanks.
$100 per year. You are making a difference! (see, that's sarcasm there.)
That's more than you're going to cost them by closing your checking account. If everyone did it, they would loose billions.
