Forum Post: Next step?

All the people who are marching and protesting- what do you think about taking the protest to the next level? Lets create our own jobs while we're protesting. I'm not talking paying jobs, I'm talking reconstruction. Think post-depression reconstruction, starting from the people. It's what we're waiting for right? Lets get some shovels, take over vacant lots and plant seeds, move shit around, make it look beautiful working with what we have. Lets clean up trash in the streets. Everyone knows how to do something, lets take it there. Lets create- show the nay-sayers we're productive, for the sake of humanity and the future of the planet, not for the sake of getting filthy rich. Thoughts or suggestions for how we could make this happen?
