Word to the wise: Chris Matthews discussed the Democratic party moving to control OWS, on tonight's news. The original tea parties got blindsided by GOP corporate whores with their free pizza and fancy buses. Well, here's some info on who owns Zuccotti Park and what the political and corporate connections are. This piece was written by someone hostile to both any anti Wall St activities AND the original (Ron Paul) tea party protests but it's well researched and people should TAKE NOTICE. If the people do not distance themselves from ALL corporations and politicians, there will be NO revolution, no change, no ending the Fed. It will all be more controlled protest steered by unseen hands. Corporate/Govt slime is the same, be it from the "left" or the "right".

...the owner of this property among many others is “Brookfield Office properties”...they are part of Brookfield Asset Management Inc...bigass company worth around 150 billion or more...

..

So what else is this Brookfield outfit up to?....

Well we got the namesake...John E. Zuccotti he’s on the board of BPO...so who is he?...well Mr Zuccotti was on the Board of directors of WELL POINT HEALTH NETWORK...for years...remember them?...they were THE most Evil health insurance company just yanking the po sheeples benefits away that only Obamacare could save us! from...in fact Obama went for the throat in rhetoric on them...I find that highly ironic that the protestanistas are camped out in a park named after a board member of one of the most demonized and the largest and most evil health insurer in the country...

Thanks and I have read that. I was there, at the Ron Paul Forums, when the tea party idea was hatched. One person came up with the idea. It was hugely successful and it wasn't long before the establishment GOP and neocons stole it. Now, the Democrats are eying OWS in the same way. It's two parties but only ONE New World Order, and they want all dissent corralled and controlled. The best thing we can do is say SCREW YOU and no longer participate in their system. Don't work for them, don't go to their government schools, don't use their banks, and don't be a "consumer". By local and keep the power local because it's at that level we have control over our own lives. And, whatever happens, SHUN that propaganda machine otherwise known as the mainstream media! When cable news starts to support your cause, you're in trouble.

The most important things to stay focused on are ending the Fed and ending the damn wars. When you end the Fed, you end the finance stream for the wars. They go hand in hand. No need to end Wall Street gambling and the investment banks - just sequester them like the casinos they are! We don't bail out Las Vegas so lets not bail out anymore banksters!

END THE FED. Return real money to the people and let the gamblers play with their paper and not our lives.

FYI...Neoliberals (Milton Friedmanites, Reagan, Thatcher, etc) wouldn't be caught dead near this movement....they're for extreme privatization and deregulation of the economy, which pretty much occurred over the last 30 years.

But I agree, the movement needs time to coalesce and be aware of such things!

right. so the "movement" was astro turfed with anonymous funds and initial impetus. no surprise there- i didn't need to do any research to figure that out...protesting is truly and only a means of distracting people from the WORK of a paradigm shift. Anybody who understands this must realize that left to their own devices the sheeple wouldn't have been so self defeating and disorganized. So. Now what? we can make this our movement still.. but it requires facing the truth of the forces that put it into play. Realizing- the corporate oligarchy WANTS protestors- NOT INFORMATION WORKERS. You played right into their hand, and did exactly what they wanted you to do.

Dont't be, the people are camped out in a park of availability, not choice.

The risk of infiltrators is ever present, obviously, and the possibility needs to be raised to a higher level of discussion.

Thanks for bringing it up.

Our diversity can be a strength if it helps swat the flies away from the movement. The only thing that everyone should agree on is to fight tooth and nail against any organization, cause, or political party that attempts to co-opt it.
