Necessity is the mother of invention.
Since those of the 1% who have not created value through the products of their own invention, they have had the impetus for invention stripped from their psyche and are thus, of no value to society beyond serving as a well for others of greater means to dip into in order to produce innovations which transform a society.
They can easily be replaced with other wells which are not subjected to the degradation of inbred incestuousness.
