It's no longer beneficial to America's citizens to allow a very small group of people in Congress to continue to make major decisions on their behalf. It is time that the citizens be given the right to vote to either accept or reject major laws or policies proposed by Congress and be part of the decision making process. This process is known as a referendum but does not yet exist at the national level. It's time to make this option available to allow the citizens as much influence over the polices and laws that effect their lives as corporations, major party monopolies, and special interest groups do!
i completly agree we have all the tec here to do this tomorrow and the so called representatives can still have thier seats but it 1 man 1 vote on every referendum..very nessasary
It is a great idea but could backfire. Due to the level of education in this Country, our powerful Corporations could use the referendum process to benefit themselves. Look how many pay check to pay check citizens vote Republican.
I hate to say it but a lot of people in this country aren't smart enough to make those decisions.
That, and only 50% of the eligible voters actually vote.
