yo peeps, call me 'Ferret'... in a good sense!

in 29 days, the National Association of (state) Attorney Generals meets within miles of Occupy San Antonio.

This is a GREAT focal point to bring up three issues I care about (and two of those we share, all Occupy-people everwhere). Those three issues?

1) State AGs to uphold the First Amendment and litigate against municipal gags on Freedom of Speech, and Freedom to Petition (for Redress of Grievances);

2) AGs to estop Law Enforcement violations (brought by false advice by Legal Officers to Governors and Mayors in 'hostile territories') against people acting under their First Amendment Rights;

3) AGs to begin a national investigation following on the NJ AG's Steroids Working Group report, showing vast networks of dirty cops and doctors, illegally prescribing anabolic ('cop rage'!) medications, on taxpayer-funded Health plans (over 400 in NJ alone!!), and the municipal Liability for victims of abuse (!).

THE TIME is now... to plan for a huge San Antonio GREETING to (perhaps some sympathetic?) State Attorneys General.

NB: Some may be 'sympathetic', so we should compile 'friendly' and 'hostile' lists 'tween now and the 26th (right?)!

Interesting. It sure would be a waste to not take advantage of that large a gathering of influential people, especially being within close proximity of an already established Occupy site. How big is San Antonio's movement, got any idea?

hi there! I really don't!

I had one friend by name and real-life in Austin, but shucks! I'm in Colorado... in the mountains, in a snowstorm! But as 'eyes and ears' I'd like to help anyone who I could... and this opens up a research door for each city! Find a list of coming 'conventions', and see if they're gov't oriented?

I forget even what I was looking for (I'm studying Steroid use in Cops, but the data is (d'oh!) rather hard to find... other AGs with other Reports, and stumbled literally onto a site for NAAG's convention! :)

If we can put this on a phone-call agenda item for next week, perhaps someone can get San Antonio interested (I posted it on their page... but most movements seem to 'delete' posts not generated within their group... so if they did delete without 'making note', it's wasted efforts on our part to give them some event to focus on... I don't yet have an opinion as to whether AGs would be 'on our side' or not; getting them to think that way is... worthy, I think! :)
