Libertarians, and obots dont want to get the money out of politics, so how can occupy wall street represent them? We can represent a majority and we do, but we can never represent 99% of public opinon. 99% of the public do not share that goal. Sorry.
Also by appealing to consensus with people that clearly do not share our goals, we appear to be repeating the terrible mistakes of Barack Obama. That seems to be the reason why we wont take stands on anything and are so vague about our objectives. We think process is going to replace an system that is corrupt and irrelevant because substitutes process for results. We arent just reinventing the wheel. We are reinventing all the mistakes of the original wheel.
I am not personally interested in camping out in the cold to be nagged by obots and paulites into voting for their candidates, but with no object to reform or replace the system because those paulites and obots wont agree to it.
You are confusing The99% --(adult students, the unemployed, the working, the voting, taxed & politically involved--mostly Not earing over $100K yearly) with Everybody else --(including adult-students, the unemployed, the underemployed, & the unemployable, the working & non-working, the non-voting, the politically apathetic, & mostly not earning more than most of us)-- Remember only about 25-35% of the eligible population votes ( &10% of these are the rich). We do need to recruit & unite more Voters. Let's focus on a real solution...
Are We the 99%Voters ready to take the REAL next step?....Here is the more proactive solution as the necessary next step at-- http://www.getmoneyout.com --& tell a friend--tell everyone...because this ones gonna be the hardest next step to take.
Election Reform Now-- One person ,one vote ,$100 limit to voters only! Reform Elections first...& the rest will follow...put an end to "government of the corporation, by the corporation, for the corporation."
