These are my demands as part of the 99%.
Prosecute those responsible for fraud, corruption, and the destruction of the economy.
Reinstate the Glass-Stegall Act. It prevented a depression for 66 years and led to another less than ten years after its repeal in 1999.
Raise taxes on corporations and wealthy individuals.
Enact legislation to repeal Citizens United case, giving corporations person-hood, free speech, and the same rights as me.
Make banks hold a greater percentage of capital in relation to their holdings. Duh.
Reform campaign finance laws and move to strictly public funded campaigns, no loopholes, no exceptions.
Put an end to high speed trading by taxing every trade on Wall Street.
Allow consumer protection agency to function as the law intends, do everything possible to fund, support, and expand it.
Cap CEO salary as a percentage of the median income of all non-management employees.
Fine corporations for taking earnings overseas to offshore tax havens.
Sounds very reasonable.
