Forum Post: my 5 cents

First off... I am happy you all stated this since it has been long overdue!

Second I am glad it is not just an "American" thing anymore but more a global movement!

We are all on this planet together and everything we do has ripple effects to everyone else. That being said we are in the 21st century... we should be able to form some kind of system that supports some very simple things for Everyone!

1. All are equal... no matter what color, race, religion or sexual preference or anything else.
2. Everyone has the some basic rights as in freedom, the right to food, water, shelter and the basics for life - on a global scale
3. Politics as they have been, have become obsolete... they are just self sustaining systems that actually have no real reality in every day life as has money... its numbers in cyberspace.... we need to find a way to work without either!

I know this sounds very far out there but if you think about it... trillions in debt are what? Numbers in a computer.... a government deciding something just marginally affects anyone usually.... and if it does its usually negative so where is actually OUR word in that decision.... its in the fact we elected someone to do whatever they want to do. Technology has come far enough... we all could vote on anything with the click of a button any day... we don't need THEM to decide for us!

And most and foremost.... we need to start behaving like the 21st century not like the crusades..... we have the possibilities to provide for everyone on a basic level instead of some exploiting the system and most struggling.
