I love that song. Thanks for sharing the video. It is a very poignant view on life. As it is a journey from birth to death - we may not have but still we try - not to try makes no sense - as then there is no hope.
So I ( we ) try to live for good, for a good life for ALL.
We move forward - Together.
If you really want to reach your soul , pick up and instrument and compose freestyle. It's the most beautiful experience.
I've never had that kind of talent. I consider it to be a major loss in my abilities.

Well . . . I wouldn't categorize mine that way. Though I find it good for the soul to sing, others might find it a painful experience ( my singing ).

Laughing - Yes most definitely in a private space. I do try to be considerate of others.
Actually, I am not an exhibitionist myself. Composing is intimate and personal and something I enjoy privately.
Inherently, because of the deep source of my muse, it is the same for me with a message that breaths our inspiration of life, from our very futures as yet unlived.
Then, when some other hears it they say, "Wow, thats good, you should get that out, where more people can hear it."
Horribly I am confronted with the fact that I'm not much into the performance, but perhaps okay at it, while the message of the music escaped that other originally voicing their appreciation, as well as any audience they might spur me to find; but the message itself still apllies vitally to our future; and that those of the present have had the basis of knowledge removed that is needed to appreciate the meanings. Critical because the meanings have deep social implications changing our interactions, indeed, our very paradigm of living.
So here is a challenge to those who think their hearts and minds can read between the lines of songs sung in the English language, their language, and find the true meanings of our hidden, lost beloved past.

As animals our genetic structures had us making sounds that were more musical as socialization. The prior and more varied connection to sound translation enables recoving speech through starting with music. More pathways.

Thank you GirlFriday. I know that it does not seem Germain to this forum, but I think it is important to consider the effects music can have for uplifting the soul and supporting us in times of great stress.
I also think it could be very essential for being positive and help shrug off the effects of abuse.

You could take it as one, thanks. I sent the song lyrics to a young friend in OWS when she was feeling down about how things were going at the time. I reminded her of the noble mission that we are all on. It is important that we are there for each other in the difficult times in our struggle.
Feed the soul, that is what the world needs. Let it start here and spread.

Yup. I just finished watching the Eva Cassidy story that was on ABC Nightline several years ago. She never gained real fame until after her death in 1996, as she refused to be pigeon-holed by record company execs into singing only one genre of music. Her story is eighteen minutes of pure inspiration. The last song she sang in a little club in DC was What A Wonderful World, knowing that she was dying of cancer. Sadly she died six weeks later.
Sounds like she celebrated life.

It would be logical that music could help with understanding which is vital for unity. For that reason I feel it is appropriate for this forum or movement in general.
More emphasis needs to be put on the difficult issues to communicate and less on the performance skills in the popular social venues.
More of what we need, always placed in front of what we want.
Answering need is the key.
If I'm not mistaken, we need our life.
Our constitution protects, "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness."
Defend the constitution with itself. Article 5.
This why the good people are here even in the face of troll attacks. We the supporters of the fight against corruption and greed.
We are moving forward - Together.
Not sure how "together" we are. But off and on some of us frequent the same forum. Certainly some of us have the same intents.
Or . . . how we would fight anything except each other.
Or . . . stop corruption and greed.
Yes, time passes for all of us together.
Our "togetherness", in the most meaningful sense of hjistory is the Constitution. Of that, the most meaningful is the right established by the Declaration of Independence.

alter or to abolish is Article V codified.
There will be a certain amount of chaos as we move forward.
But the corrupt will help us to find consensus with their attacks on rights as well as on the environment and the economy.
They are getting nasty as the movements against them move forward.
We will move forward - Together.
Together as in "Article V" I hope, because there we find the authority needed to meet demands.

It may not seem to be but I think that in many ways it is. This is something that many therapists are using in a variety of ways. Music is also one of the ways of learning in Gardner's MI theory.
It is good stuff, especially when we see such a backlash against it in the education setting.

GF.. Did you know too that Researchers working to understand Whales, have for years used Low Musical tones..?.. That they have actually used Chords to communicate?
Music is one of the TRUEST forms of energy in it's ability to Vibrate to the very core of our Central Nervous System.. It's how the 'Ring of Truth' came to being more than just a Phrase.

I would love to see music included in the daily life of students. Not just the study of music. But the actual listening to it through-out the day. Not Muzak though, that stuff is just wrong. Want to see creativity and activity take a leap? Want to see retention improve?

Well then G-day. It's 10:59am here. Thank you for sending out the voice of Bob M. It is a simple song but it speaks to our need at this time ( in all times ) as this is what needs to happen.
