I just want to say that I despite being somewhat misguided, poorly lead, and without a stated objective I applaud this cause.
I must say that I actually am a supporter of Capitalism. I should say regulated Capitalism. I do believe that along with Democracy it has made this country as great as it is as. However I am not afraid of injecting some aspects of Socialism to keep things in balance or to make sure that key fundamental to life services are available to all.
With that said, supporters of free unregulated capitalism will tell us that corporate America should have the right to conduct its business as they see fit and that somehow everyone will benefit. That they should be able to seek maximum profit through any means available with no regard to the repercussions and those citizens/customers always have the right to say piss off if they don’t like it.
So let me put in these terms:
As a lifetime baseball fan I am taking my son to see a MLB game. I come across the owner of the team and say: You want $150 for tix, $40 to park, $10 for a beer, and $6 for a hotdog? Just so you can become a multi-billionaire and pay your players multi-million dollar guaranteed contracts to play a game that I would happily play for free? Now I could just do what most people do and just pay up. Or I could say PISS OFF. I’m the 99%
Unfortunately this example does not shed light on how corporate America then takes the prophits it rapes from the rest of us to influence government policy. That’s taking things to another level. But it does show the hypocrisy of those supporters of non regulated free market capitalism. Occupiers are doing exactly what they have every right to do. Tell them to piss off!!!
MARCH ON!!!! I applaud you all!!!!
PS: Please keep it non violent…

Please indulge me in posting the following urgent plea, which is not exactly directly related to your comments above. Thanks very much.
URGENT PROPOSAL: OWS to call for a massive EMERGENCY national action including all our union support, to oppose Congress's upcoming attempt to impose--is it a trillion dollars?--in cutbacks to social programs that the 99% depend on. Obama will prove useless in opposing the cuts, so WE HAVE TO STOP THEM! I’m referring to the virtual dismantling of essential social programs, using the deficit as an excuse. In an hour-long talk on YouTube to Occupy Boston, Noam Chomsky describes this projected assault on the 99% as a dagger aimed straight at the heart of the country.
Thank you, everyone.
