If we were still in Contra Costa County we'd meet with OWS Walnut Creek on the list posted at the end of the below since people from that corridor (Martinez, Pacheco, Concord,Pleasant Hill, Alamo,Blackhawk,Danville, San Ramon,) are seriously experiencing the ravages of this economy losing jobs, businesses and homes. I like the quote they have on their page:
Occupy Walnut Creek
"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot." -Mark Twain
PS:Anyone reading this who worked at Preferred Mortgage, Pacific Mortgage Group or United Mortgage Group I know our companies went under in the midst of our ethical business practices with massive crash in the markets. I hope you're all doing fine! Someone here posted with the username 'Pandame' If that's you Panda I hope you're doing well and it looks like the rest of America shares our sentiments about Cheerios, it was among those rated as cereals America doesn't love anymore so who has the last laugh? Elizabeth (originally from NY with a journalism background) from United Mortgage Group who wanted to use the lower priced non-recommended gas in your BMW as our office volume tanked with the economy, I hope you took my advice not to do that! Say hi to Christina and Fred if you're still in touch with any of the old crew. You can find me on linkedin (I was let go to your and other's dismay) a few months before Peter decided to close the doors and switched you all to Mason McDuffie for a time only to fold again as I had predicted. It was me who told you to refi ASAP as long as your home was within valuation guidelines and I hope you did and you and your husband are OK! If you're really having trouble living in Benicia you might want to seriously consider a relocate to Reno, NV where we are, the price is 'right' for us vs. the Bay Area under the current circumstances for a locum tenens.
