We're on the brink of a revolution because, it seems, we have not learned from our mistakes. The aristocracy in england that existed in the sixteenth century is the reason that America was founded. America has become that same thing...we're on the brink of another revolution if our government doesn't WAKE UP! When so few hold so much of the wealth, and become selfish and greedy, the people will rise up and revolt. I think I'm becoming an anarchist because of the inequity.... Study your history...

POWER = MONEY MONEY = DEBT DEBT=SLAVERY

just had to contribute to your riveting post.

all of our currency is debt, except for coins. without debt there is no means of exchanging goods and services. This great scam is the cause of almost all of our troubles including all the wars. In fact the American Revolution was fought to free the colonies of the Bank of England.

DEBT = SLAVERY

Benjamin Franklin stated: "a lender and not a borrower be." I always thought - well that would be nice - and wondered how he could state that, as if any of us could just will it.

Only a sovereign government can create a sovereign currency. But our government borrows the use of our currency from the Federal Reserve, which is federal in name only.

One state in the union had a surplus last year. That is the state of North Dakota and the surplus was greater than 1 billion dollars. The state of North Dakota is the only state in the union that publicly owns a bank, the Bank of North Dakota.

Check out the articles on WebOfDebt.com and learn the real problem which is the private issuance and control of our monetary system.

Power = Creating Money out of thin Air - This is known as Fractional Reserve Banking !

Over time whoever controls the currency will control a nation!

I call it the Fraudulent Reserve.

[-] 1 points by beyondmoney22 (233) 13 years ago

that is a dangerous defeatist belief that will change nothing. you are accepting your fate and not willing to fight for your right to be truly free

[-] 1 points by FUCKTHENWO (280) from RIVERDALE, MD 13 years ago

[-] 1 points by beyondmoney22 (233) 13 years ago

actually guns = power. In Venezuela, Chavez nationalized the oil companies. They have a lot more money than him, but he controls the guns (force/military)

[-] 1 points by alwayzabull (228) 13 years ago

Good point.

[-] 1 points by jdog (146) 13 years ago

thanks. just occurred to me the power of the gun extends to putting people in jail as well as pardoning them.....if somebody is in jail they can't use their money too effectively , can they?

End Corporate Lobbyists from there all these other issues can be raised, debated, and voted on based on our representative government weighted one vote per one citizen. Corporate lobbyists serve the interests of perhaps 1 in 1,000 of us. with those numbers I can imagine an end to the practice. One issue, one focus nearly all of us will agree on that will open the door to all the other issues being negotiated with our common interest in the forefront.

This is not an attack on capitalism. If corporate lobbyist money is taken out of the government, so too should go labor union money.

The status quo is sustained by ignorance, which is bought with money.

The corporations who steal and prey on the middle class are no different from the corporations who dominate the media, telling us what to think, and distracting us with pop culture bullshit.

Through awareness, education, and concentrated protest, the power of their money can be burned away as paper.
