It's time we declared independence from Citizens United

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/citizens_united. The United States Supreme Court decision in Citizens United established money as speech, reaffirmed that corporations are people, and paved the way for a head-long rush towards plutocracy.

We think this is wrong and we hope you agree.

To protest this truly spectacular decision and raise awareness of the issue, we want to do something equally spectacular this July 4th.

Money is the new tea.

We intend to print this message: http://miccheckwallst.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/mcws-id4-money-drop-dollar.jpg on all the donated money before throwing off a building somewhere in Seattle on the 4th of July.

In addition to drawing attention to the issue ironically: a statement about money as speech by using money as speech; the money will naturally go back into general circulation. As it passes from hand to hand, from one person to the next, it will continue to spread it's message.
