His goal was firstly to make other Americans aware of the situation. Then secondly, enlist their help to make changes to the law. He was successful.

If you simply substitute Black American for Working Class American, the same situation exist today, a system of laws that basically screw the Working Class American (as purposefully complex those laws may be) .

The same approach that MLK applied 50 years ago must be applied today. With the final result being a new set of laws that protect the Working Class American from corporate exploitation. Not just the Working Class American, a new global rule book, that delineates corporate conduct is required.

OWS seems to have everyones attention, the next step is to clearly identify the problem, then enlist the help of all to make Lasting Legal changes. Changing some ones opinion counts for little, it's the law that really matters.

to be a working class american you have to work........"Oppurtinity is missed by most people, becasue it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." -Thomas Edison

Here is an opportunity to explain why, as you state, "the only thing similar to MLK and occupy wall street is.......nothing.", I can dress this perfectly good opportunity in overalls, if you don't mind a little work?

i have no idea what you are saying anymore. seems like you ran out of reasonable rebuttals

Too lazy to defend your statement?

opportunity = work. work is missed by most people, because it looks hard. if the protestors are so wanting jobs. Go get one. maybe they aren't easy and fun. maybe they require someone to work extremely hard and sweat. I have never seen a group of immigrants from mexico or cuba work harder. they know they are blessed even if they cut grass or are painters or something uncomfortable. they have seen the other side. americans are the richest and fattest people in the world and americans are the top 1 % of the world and they are whining that they dont get their "fair" share. bless our hearts. what about the starving kids in africa whos parents are farmers on the savanna, if they are even healthy enough to work. if any group of people dont desire anything it is the great people of the united states of america. sounds to me like the other 99 % has some of that greed too.

So you believe that if, "immigrants from mexico or cuba…starving kids in africa whos parents are farmers on the savanna" are happy then so should the American Worker?

Judging from your statements, you obviously despise or even hate the American Worker. "…if any group of people dont desire anything it is the great people of the united states of america." I'm going to assume that you are not American? If you are, you're treacherous.

This also has nothing to do with your previous statement that I asked you to explain. "the only thing similar to MLK and occupy wall street is.......nothing."

Read Constitutional attorney Glenn Greenwalds brand new book called 'With Liberty and Justice for Some' on the TWO TIER Justice system in this country.

The U.S holds 5% of the worlds population but 25% of the incarceration rate world wide!

thats because we keep the war on drugs - NOT an issue for OWS to address yet

the justice system is THE issue...Everything evolves around accountability and oversight and if there is no justice system....doing the accountability...
