MIT freshman, studying electrical engineering and computer science. I don't know that much, but I can think of a few ideas. First of all, a bicycle generator is probably not the best idea for doing something like this because it's not particularly practical. As Nate suggested, it would be a great idea to look into solar battery chargers and alternating banks of car batteries to see if that would provide enough power for most of what you need.
If that doesn't work out, you might try buying or building a Stirling engine to generate power. It's different from an internal combustion engine in that it doesn't require anything to be burned inside of it; it merely requires a temperature gradient across it. They sell small novelty ones for a couple of hundred dollars apiece that you stick on top of coffee cups to spin little propellers. I'm not sure how much it would cost to get a larger one that you could run off a garbage can fire or makeshift oven, but a few of the latter could give you a great deal of power with no extra emissions.
You can find out more about them here: http://www.stirlingengine.com/faq
How about cold fusion? All we need is the electrolysis of heavy water on the surface of a palladium electrode.
Rise and shine green power advocates...
OK green power aficionados.... Time to rise and shine. The heroes in Zuccotti Park had power but Mayor Bloomberg stole it. Our heroes in the park need power that does not have any combustible fuel. That way the mayor can't have an excuse to take the power source. Need to run medical / food tent, computers and power some sort of heat source that can act as a campfire to ward off frostbite.
Ask the 1.6 billion people on the planet who live without electricity what they use.

I've grown bored with you and I'm paying attention to this now http://occupywallst.org/forum/genius-idea-from-efschumacher-heres-how-you-can-wi/ . Why don't you do something positive and productive for a change? Read a book. Help a person in need. Anything other than being a troll.

Humor? Was that humor? See, it seemed to me that you were just being a negative smart ass. And don't give me this crap about logic. I took plenty of logic classes in college and you commit more than your share of fallacies pal.

You clearly didn't look at the link. It was completely relevant to the conversation. You need to read before you criticize.
