Forum Post: Michigan: The Talons of Tyranny Tighten

Posted 11 years ago on March 8, 2013, 11:32 a.m. EST by shoozTroll (17632)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

First we cut your funding, then we bribe you with a pittance.

"Michigan Republicans are hoping that the lure of state cash will entice Detroit city officials into accepting an Emergency Financial Manager without a fuss. After stripping $152.2 million in annual revenue sharing from the city, Republicans are pushing a familiar theme: take away funding or increase taxes then give a bit back to make themselves look benevolent."

http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/03/republicans-dangle-money-in-front-of-detroit-to-encourage-acceptance-of-an-emergency-financial-manager.html

Snyder continues to play hide the tyrant, as he plays the who will be the emergency manager.

Believe it or not, Mitt is at the top of the rumor list.

beow is the law in michigan http://ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php/Laws_governing_the_initiative_process_in_Michigan

Citizens of Michigan may initiate legislation as either an indirectly initiated state statute or a directly initiated constitutional amendment. For statutes, if the petition receives enough valid signatures, then the state legislature has 40 days to adopt or reject the proposal. If the legislature rejects the law, then the measure is placed on the next general election ballot. For amendments, if the petition contains sufficient signatures, then the measure is placed directly on the next general election ballot. In addition, residents have the power to repeal legislation via veto referendum. The Michigan State Legislature can also place measures on the ballot as legislatively-referred constitutional amendments.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Do you know how many years and petitions it took, just to get them to sort of legalize pot for medical use?

Do you really realize how screwed up the REDs have the State supreme court systems?

They peed all it over just so they could raise my taxes. A tax cut that was guaranteed by my State constitution. Placed there by a Democrat.

They PEED all over it!!!!!

Just 'cause the brothers Koch asked them to.

[-] 1 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 11 years ago

The stuff is not ileagle below 1 oz., in December. Here, Washington, will be available for sale December., due to citizen initiative. They released lots of people from jail. Should be a boom for jobs, increase revenue.

Yea I signed petition and thoughtnitbwould not pass in is hundred years.

Things are greener here in WA.

Heard today new Boeing contracts are lacking retirement plan. Maybe private 403 plans.

I would not stick around there. Sounds like Bushland Bushtopia

How can they not follow constitution. That's the law.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Thank your lucky stars that the brothers Koch are busy elsewhere........For now.

I signed around three petitions over an 8-10 year period, and it's only semi legal here.

What can I say. Our State supreme court peed on the State constitution to give retirees and pensioners a HUGE tax increase, to balance a HUGE cut to corporations.

It was the biggest tax increase in State history.

So much for Taxed Enough Already.

[-] 1 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 11 years ago

michigan should look into this...

[-] 3 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

In other words, there isn't one.

The REDs running this State have already peed all over the State's constitution.

They had to, so the lying teabagge(R)s could raise my taxes.

They don't give a fuck about voters.

They're teabagge(R)s

[-] 1 points by gsw (3420) from Woodbridge Township, NJ 11 years ago

so the people must rise up, bypass them, run a state initiative, a law,

which legislature would be compelled to comply with.

1 for national initiative power to limit congress, national Boule initiative

2 if they need this in the state...the Boule, random citizen

representatives, vet initiatives to give power back to citizenry.

http://www.cusdi.org/rules_of_assembly.htm#Part_A:_Direct_Initiative_Rules.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

This would be funny, if it wasn't so GD real.

Orr wants to hire someone to do the job he was "appointed" to do.

I suppose he will be too busy union busting to actually manage a city.

And the still want to turn Belle Isle into Galt's Gulch.

http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/04/flint-and-detroit-and-belle-isle-oh-my.html

Does anyone still want to argue that this is NOT proof of an infiltration/infestation of libe(R)tarians?

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Decentralize. Dont give them something they can get their hands on.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Decentralize what??

http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/03/50-lansing-elementary-phys-ed-art-music-teachers-being-replaced-with-10-20-part-time-consultants.html

Destroying education, one city at a time.

Big or small, they'll screw them all.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

They cant grab what they cant touch. If we werent dependant on the "state" for educational help, they cant fuck it up.

Fuck the teaching to the test, and fuck ALL the bullshit that the states require of our teachers. The teachers all think its bullshit, the parents do to, and yet we still include them. Why?

Because they have money. Thats it.

Get the state and feds out of it, taxes will drop and communities can then decide on a town or even a county level how to tax and do things.

Keep it local. Its all about local. The minute some faceless entity start providing, things get fucked up and it goes downhill.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

You didn't answer the question.

The smaller it gets, the more control they have.

http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/03/borgess-health-park-in-battle-creek-being-built-mostly-by-non-union-workers-without-health-insurance-coverage.html

Was this done to "save tax dollars"?

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

There never was a question to begin with. Just you stating off hand things, and then expecting lord knows what. Same thing you have been doing here for over a year, dodging and blaming, with absolutely no expansion on anything.

Id love to see you as a teacher. The kids start expanding on the topic, and you yell at them to focus specifically on some random piece of information that you put on the board in response to legitimate questions.

Its a post on the financial managers in Detroit. What the hell is the question?

How do we prevent this?
What do we do now?
How did this happen?

You dont ask for any expansion on any posts, just posting the articles, and then attack people when they try to expand on them. Do you know how backwards that is, in terms of discussion?

"You didn't answer the question. The smaller it gets, the more control they have."

ITs not even a damn question. Its just regurgitating your own beliefs. Which are directly at odds with occupy (PS- thats the site you are on)

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

You answer so few questions, it's hard to keep track of all of them..

Not answering is your forte.......along with insults. This attempt at insult is at least a bit more clever than your usual.

Your anti-union stances are pretty notorious though.

http://inthesetimes.com/working/entry/14801/unions_greet_right_to_work_with_defiance_and_in_some_cases_adaptation/

You never did say how the repeal of "right to work" is doing in Florida.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

If you are talking about your tax dollar half ass question, what I posted wouldnt save any taxes in the long run, it would simply put the money back into the community to use how they wish, instead of being slaves to the states and the feds.

Local shooz. Its your answer you are looking for. A broad base of human rights, and keep people local. Buy local. Support local. Organize local. The beast cant fuck up what it cant touch.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

It's just not a true statement.

I've demonstrated over and over how much cheaper and easier is for the corporations to buy and influence things at the more local levels.

Cheaper to buy and easier to keep out of the press.

Over and over you pretend not to notice and then you just repeat your false statements.

The WallStreet beast touches all of it. Bar none.

Why do you HATE the organized working man and his unions so fucking much?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Hey, you are one that supports those who ship their jobs overseas, that supports those who fuck with their savings, and the one who supports those who quite frankly, dont give a fuck about you OR them. Not me.

If that was true, and what you just posted is a blatant lie- then why do they spend so much more money lobbying the national elections instead of the local ones? Because its that much tougher? Or because they have that much more to gain?

Your logic is defying logic.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

More lies from a guy that posts from brietbart?

Yes of course.

Indeed, it has NOTHING to do with the subject at hand and is yet another lame attempt at insult.

All it really shows is your support for "right to work": legislation.

Legislation that these days is actively promoted by ALEC.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

ALEC is comprised of corporations that the people you endorse are in bed with.

Didnt figure you could answer that question. Or ask a decent one. Or show me your question in the original top post. Or expand on anything. Between you and vkag this place is like the mickeymouse club.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Start by answering these.

Why did you post a link to brietbart?

Why did you post links to the John Birch society?

What is it you think Alex Jones says that is "correct"?

Why do support "right to work"?

Why do you think the 99% are asses?

Why are you so insulting?

These are but a few of the questions you've never answered and often responded to with insults.

Then we can get on to what is really real.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Um, I didnt read these in your top post. Let me repost it for your dumb ass:

Believe it or not, Mitt is at the top of the rumor list.".....

Anyone else not see a question in there? haha. Are you high? Someone who claims to have union experience should be a bit more able to post coherent thoughts than this. Of course, you do endorse shipping our jobs offshore, so who knows what you are capable of.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Insults instead of answers.

It's been your MO for months now.

Considering your 3 weeks late, I guess it's all that can be expected of you.

Insults instead of answers.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

NO. YOU endorse them, by minimizing what they do.

Just like you minimize what the brothers Koch do.

Awww, such a cute insult from a guy who says the 99% are asses and posts from breitbart.

.

[-] 2 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Um, I dont really minimize them, or any group of corporations. You just happen to vote for the people they lobby. Thats on you, not me.

If you were doing something more than just voting, it may be understandable. But you dont. Thats your contribution. And it goes directly to benefit ALEC. Great job shooz!!

Claim everyone else is ignoring what the corporations are doing, and then go vote for their candidates. Fuckin incredible. Get played much?

Did your check from Murdoch come in? Talk about a fuckin hypocrite.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

OooooooHH...You said fuck first.

You win, eh?

How about answering the breitbart question now?

No, I never got my check.

Did you get yours?

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Kinda like these guys?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/special/politics/nra-congress/

so now will answer the breitbart question?

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Ya, very much like that. Politicians who whore out to corporations.

Not sure what the Breitbart thing is about with you, linked to the BirchWood people I allegedly endorse?

What question were you asking in the post? Not about me. What question was in the post? What question was I refusing to reply to?

And why do you think they are so desperately consolidating power not just here, but globally? Because keeping things local and unorganized is good for them?!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Why do you support tyranny through the appointment of "emergency managers"?

Since you won't answer anything in good faith anyway. I don't expect a cogent response to this either.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Again, what was the question.

What was the question.

What was the question.

What was the question.

There was no question in your post. No call for a response. Just a statement. I offered a solution to it.

What is your question?

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Why did you post a link to brietbart?

Why did post links to the John Birch society?

What is it you think Alex Jones says that is "correct"?

Why do support "right to work"?

Why do you think the 99% are asses?

Why are you so insulting?

These are but a few of the questions you've never answered and often responded to with insults.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Um, sir, we were talking about this topic. The "talons of tyranny".

What was the question?

Again, we repeat-

What was the question?

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Brietbart.

Answer the that one.

I'm very curious about that one.

[-] 2 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

So there was no question in the post? Ok.

As far as teh Breitbart comment, Im not sure what you are talking about. The only thing I know about him was the occupy exposed movie, which was pretty disgusting and I think the very end summed him up a person pretty well, most likely.

So if there wasnt a question on your post, would you now like to ask one?

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Pretty good "forget" what you've posted. Or should say convenient?

Did you also forget about your posting from the John Birch Society?

Should I also take your lack of cogent commentary on what's happening in Michigan as an endorsement?

There are any number of questions these ongoing events bring up you could venture to answer.

You just don't.

You like to play games, and ignore what you've posted..

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Hey, you are the one who thinks the war criminals in DC or the disaster that your apathetic state has turned into are good places to put our decisions on water...not me. You wont catch me saying that shit.

So you still wont admit there was no question in the post. Is this insane or what?

This guy is delusional.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

You said that, not me.

The only one delusional here.....is YOU!

Now you want to insult my State?? And you're in Florida!!!????

You're a dip shit. nothing more.

Thanks for the bump though.

[-] -1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

He's also against Social Security and wind power. As well as unendingly criticizing every tactic occupy takes part in unless it is related to rebuilding the govt.

[-] 3 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Need a tissue?

Its the 2nd of the month, shouldnt you be out collecting rents?

[-] 0 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

No reason to get personal, unless your spent. And can't argue the facts anymore.

Is that it.? Are you ready for your tantrum.?

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

If you arent able to discuss things because you spend all the time on here instead of down there helping them get past the reform vs rebuild argument, thats your own fault.

Its a shame, but the fault is no ones but yours.

[-] 0 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

I'm so tired of your lies. If you are so interested in rebuilding why haven't you connected with those that share that goal?

Why do I have to do that work for you?

I mean it seems quite obvious to me that you aren't really interested in rebuilding. But rather only use the goal of rebuilding to discourage any and all other activism.

If you were truly interested in rebuilding thats what you would be doing. instead of coming here being a nattering nabob of negativism.

[-] 1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

You are sooooo dumb. The process was the rebuild, you freakin moron.

And like I said, if you went you would know that. This is like arguing with a child. No perspective whatsoever. People have been wiping their ass with you for over a year on here, and you still keep the same mindless nonsense going. You are a miracle.

[-] -1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

In your dreams troll boy.

[-] -1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

What do you mean? Are you unfamiliar with the groups working for rebuilding the govt?

Please don't tell me I gotta educate you again.

Can't you do the most basic research yourself.?

Good lord you are hopeless.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

You are a real piece of work.

I have never heard of the "rebuilding" work group. Please show me where this is.

[-] -1 points by inclusionman (7064) 11 years ago

I think they have gotten past that argument. There are many working groups working on many issues. Aren't you involved with the rebuild working group?

Do I get the credit for them getting past the reform/rebuild argument now?

[-] 2 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

The rebuilding working group? Nice job as usual Frankenstein.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

No, actually, the smaller and more horizontal it gets, the closer it gets occupy.

Why do you think they are centralizing everything? Every decision of every aspect of life?

Local dude. Keep it fuckin local. An over arching set of rights, and keep those fuckers out of everything else as possible. Keep it with the people.

If centralization was good, occupy would have been electing officers. Its not.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Mayors can't be bought?????

I've offered you numerous examples.

You've offered platitudes and rhetoric.

By "decentralizing" belief in global warming we end up with this.

http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/03/good-thing-theres-no-such-thing-as-climate-change-or-michigan-would-have-to-dredge-58-harbors-oh-wait.html

Guess who they will insist pays for it?

The horizontal masses.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

People are just scared of having a big commitment again. I can tell you this, the current method sucks.. Give the people a shot with something they can actually control.

You don think people have more control over whats going on in their actual communities, as opposed to the state capitol or DC, all tucked away in its own neat corner? You cant really give me any examples because thats now how its set up.

Occupy was frustrating at times, but at least people had a chance to directly participate again.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

For the most part?

No, they don't.

I just spoke to guy yesterday that told a tale of HUGE water bills in a smaller nearby city, on the same system. A cost enforced by that city alone.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I know of some who have huge water bills too. Guess what one did? He just ate it and paid it/. Guess what the other did? He wnet down to the office and raised hell and got it cleared.

Cant do that when its off into the state capital. Or DC. Local is, has been, and always will be, hte key.

The gov is suppose to fear the people, not vise versa. When you concentrate them, and hide them, they have less to fear.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

It's an entire city, not just one guy. I'm on the same system ( the largest in the world { so much for volume discounts } ) and my bills are nowhere near as high.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

A city is a community.

Prefer to hand the duties of water management over to the state? Judging by the disasterous nonsense going on in MIchagan, with barely a peep from the peeps, I think not.

You want the people who make the rules to be going to the same restaurants as the people. It keeps them honest. At least it helps anyways.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

The peeps from the peeps are being ignored.

Had you been reading what I've been posting, you would know this.

It's not like you don't have issues in Florida.

http://thinkprogress.org/economy/2013/03/28/1783741/florida-gulf-coast-koch-brothers/

and I don't hear a peep out of you.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

The peeps are being ignored because the peeps arent being loud enough, and there isnt enough of them.

I wanst expecting a reply to the real issue, which is localization to combat the national takeover. But Im going to assume you arent in favor of putting the water in the states hands. I think that goes without being said.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Is that the same place that named thier football stadium for a private prison corporation?

250,000+ made their voices heard in Wisconsin.

They were ignored........Now that State has fallen to 44th in job creation, and job creation was the reason given for why they were ignored..

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Look, theres almost 6 million people in Wisconsin. And those protests were no where near 250k. Maybe close to 25k. Thats .4%.

Thats just not enough.

250k people protesting would have been 4%. Thats still not enough, but its getting close.

And it takes a repeating effort. Repetition is key. Any group can withstand a day of harsh protests, maybe even a week. We have a serious attention deficit problem in this country, and I think most in occupy got to see this first hand. Very hard to stay on point, keep people finding a few hours a month for any amount of time.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago
[-] -2 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Corporations are making the rules all over the place, why are you surprised the MSM didnt cover it?

Are you new here?

[-] -2 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

You have union experience, you should be familiar with organizing at least a little bit.

If you think .4% of the people is enough noise to get change, then what is your cut off point. How many people had to have an issue, percentage wise, in your union to get things moving?

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

You've once again managed not to address a single issue or question I've presented you with.

And you expect me to answer you????

Not a chance.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Taxed

Enough

Already.

HA!!

LIARS!! The entire tea party is a LIE!!

http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130319/POLITICS02/303190435

Record tax increases!!!

And that's from the "conse(R)vative" paper.

Destroying Democracy, one State at a time!!!

Lies and tyranny is all they bring.

[-] 0 points by JesseHeffran (3903) 11 years ago

Technically, they did not lie. Somebody's taxes did get lowered, It just was not the working class lemmings who believed the Tea Party was talking to them. They were talking to the business owners whose "taxes were trimmed by $1.8 billion:" as your article suggests.

This is in reply to: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130319/POLITICS02/303190435

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Grrrrrrr.......Now don't go all teapologist on me Jesse.

Hey, I like that......teapologist............:)

I get it though, except it's only a suggestion. A small business guy I know said his went up, plus they made a machine he was using illegal, lowing his profits too.

There's whole lot of retirees getting rather pissed off, the increase was HUGE!

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Michigan Republicans are hoping that the lure of state cash will entice Detroit city officials into accepting an Emergency Financial Manager without a fuss.

Which makes it a damned if you do and damned if you don't deal.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Remember all those "people" who claimed urban farms would save the day?

Where are they now that the Michigan tyrants are selling a successful one to private interests??

http://www.eclectablog.com/2013/10/hamtramck-emergency-manager-sweeps-away-agreements-puts-wildly-successful-urban-farmcomm-garden-land-up-for-auction.html

hiding somewhere, as usual!

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Running around the internet with the rest of the Truthers. They don't like that complicated shit.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

What they really don't like is the reality of what these teabagge(R)s are doing.

So they hide in the shadows, waiting for the next time Alex, FLAKESnews, Limbaugh, or Drudge...et al, tells them to jerk their knees.

And jerk them, they will.

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

The thing that pisses me off about your article is ........how did they not see that coming?

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Rotating emergency tyrants.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Yep, and nowhere in the article does it mention that VOTERS, said no to all their "emergency personnel".

Tyranny marches on in spite of Democracy.

Just like ALEC wants it to be.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Of course not, wouldn't want that little bit of truth to get out.

[-] 3 points by Eclectablog (3) 11 years ago

That's unfair. I have been writing about this travesty of democracy for over two years and post upwards of 4-6 posts about it a week. Just because this one particular post doesn't mention the passage of Proposal 1 in November 2012 doesn't mean I haven't written about it. Hell, I've mentioned it in multiple Emergency Financial Manager-related posts in the past week. I'm an ally, not the enemy.

[-] -1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

And, therefore, you wrote the article in the newspaper?

Some of us actually follow the links.

[-] -1 points by vaprosvyeh (-400) 11 years ago

It's a blog, that quoted a newspaper yes, but a blog nonetheless.

[-] 0 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Hence, following the links.

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 11 years ago

I've been talking today with a guy from Grosse Point MI about the corruption in Detroit. He lived there for several years. He posted this link about a bridge owner who is one of the more hated locals. Read some of the responses below the article (which is more upbeat, of course).

http://www.mlive.com/news/detroit/index.ssf/2012/11/ambassador_bridge_owner_matty_3.html

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (17435) 11 years ago

Shooz turned me on to this guy and the bridge issue. Apparently, there are piles of petroleum coke near the Detroit River that are a catastrophe in progress.

There are some good responses in that article.

Shithead Republicans, and then you have shithead Democrats too:

http://www.dailynews.com/ci_22762615/kwame-kilpatrick-former-detroit-mayor-guilty-40-45?source=rss_emailed

The people are too fuckin dumb to stop voting for either of em. And then they wonder why its such a mess.

PS- this is a not limited to just michigan. This is a national problem. People keep electing the same fucked up parties over and over and then BLAME THE PARTIES. Holy shit.

If you dont like the macaroni salad, STOP ORDERING IT. Or better yet, go to a new place!!!

Come on people, this aint rocket science work. The people who created democracy werent exactly splitting the atom in their spare time.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

What's Kwame got to do with this?

He's an ass, but he didn't create "emergency managers".

He didn't raise my taxes 100% either.

Snyder did that, with the help of the brothers Koch and your best friend ALEC.

So for you, I guess it is rocket science

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I wouldnt want either on of em making decisions for me. But then again, I like to keep things as horizontal as possible. We all have our things.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Mostly you like to avoid answering questions and attempting to change the subject, while calling people names..

Plus you like to chase that inclusion fellow around.

Yep......That's your main contribution around here.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Keep slobbering all over the Dems laps while they play you like a fiddle.

Anyone who voted for Snyder should have their head checked. And anyone who though Virg wouldnt bow down to the party base needs their head checked as well.

now what is your next line of nonsense. What the hell do you stand for, anyways?

PS- everyone hates Vq, and you and facts are second on most lists.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

OK. Mr. Breitbart.

You know everything about everything. The John Birchers told you.

A know liar tells me everybody hates me.

I think the only one around here with a list is you.

Now you can return to your regularly scheduled insults.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I could care less about Breitbart or the John Birch Society.

You are the one who used to follow them as a libertarian, not me.

Anyone who thinks the free market will take care of everything is fuckin moron. I guess that was you. Did you suddenly grow a brain? Or are you full fo shit?

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

You put the links up, not me.

And then you called more names.

You should leave now.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

You must be one nasty troll to obsess over a link when the context was troops consolidating power....oh wait....

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I put the links up because there was a more pressing statement:

People being sent into harms way from teh asshole you helped elect.

If you want to focus on the links, and not the info and the results of it, thats your game, not mine.

You could care less about deaths overseas, more so about what the link can be traced to..

Awesome dude. Please find a way to help out if possible.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Massive decentralization. Consolidating power, and giving up rights, is a bad combo.

The US is on the mission to consolidate the entire planet. Corporations love consolidation. It makes them happy. One stop shopping.

If the state didnt have so much power over the people of Michigan, this wouldnt matter. The stuff that they are doing would be impossible if their power was dissolved.

[-] 0 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Here's some local Koch consolidation for you.

I'm surprised you didn't post it yourself, since you claim to be so savvy.

http://www.opednews.com/Quicklink/How-The-Koch-Brothers-Use-in-General_News-130401-141.html

You never did answer my question about that being the same university that named it's football stadium for a private prison corporation.

Just more of that local stuff you ignore.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

A) Atlas in schools is old news, been there for a long time. Its part of the reason we occupy, in case you didnt get the memo- THERES A CORPORATE TAKEOVER

B) the name was turned down- the people were close enough to raise hell and have an impact. Thanks for proving my point you dumb old bastard.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

"" I'm not running for anything, but if Murdock wants to give me some cash, I'll take it."

Anyone surprised this guy is full of shit?

No I never got a check. I didnt ask for one. Money out, remember?

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Yeah? And?

I didn't post from the John Birch society.

I didn't post from brietbart.

I didn't stick up for ALEC legislation.

I didn't stick up for Alex Jones

You did.

Now I'm sure you will once again let the insults flow.

It's what you do.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Im just pointing out that you favor free money as speech.

That was you stating that about yourself.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

NO. You made that up.

Then you quote it out of context, as if it makes up for your love of breitbart and Alex Jones and the Birchers.

As if it makes up for you calling the 99% asses.

It doesn't.

.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

You are OK with Obama accepting money from Murdoch, because if it was you, you'd take a check too. That was the context.

Still waiting for that question, in regards to THIS POST, that isnt there.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

You should think local.

http://www.opednews.com/Quicklink/How-The-Koch-Brothers-Use-in-General_News-130401-141.html

Your good friends the brothers Koch hard at work thinking small cheap and local.

Go ahead, now make something up.

How about an insult? Use of the word fuck, perhaps?

How about how the 99% are asses?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Dodge much? At least dont be a hypocrite about being a hypocrite....haha..

Ya, my good friends. They are such wonderful people. I love all of our fancy dinners together. Would you take a check from them too if they offered?!!!! hah.

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

I'll keep dodging until you adequately answer all of my questions.

You have completely failed to do so.

Just like you failed to respond to what was in the link I posted.

It's your MO.

How about that Alex Jones?

How about you sticking up for ALEC legislation?

How about that John Birch Society stuff you posted?

Do recall who founded them?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

You keep coming up with new questions, cant seem to focus. Do you have a memory problem? Too much syrup? Or are you the product of some shit school in teh middle of no where in Michigan? I hope you didnt run union meeting like this, bouncing from one thing to another like the fuckin pink panther!! Thats assuming you arent full of shit with that too. Of course, you openly endorse all sorts of fucked up shit, so thats on you.

Where is the original question I was avoiding?

[-] 1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

All of them.

You've avoided all of them.

Have you been drinking today?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

"Why do you support tyranny through the appointment of "emergency managers"? Since you won't answer anything in good faith anyway. I don't expect a cogent response to this either."

Why would ANYONE support this? And honestly, why would I post articles on this when you already are. Is that how you determine who is ignoring what?

Because Ive got to tell you- theres a lot of problems out there. It doesnt start and end in your shallow little world. You do realize there are countries out there much worse off than you, right?

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Insults instead of answers.

Nothing cogent added.

How's the repeal of "right to work" coming along in Florida?

I've pointed out many problems to you that you have minimized and/or ignored over these months, so I would have to say it's you in the shallow end, and it always was.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

And yet there you are in Michigan, not doing anything about any of it. Claiming others in other states arent doing anything, and yet you have nothing to show for yourself.

" I'm not running for anything, but if Murdock wants to give me some cash, I'll take it."

I wouldnt expect anything less. Are you sharing the cap with Vkag these days?

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

I tried to get Snyder recalled, so stop lying you hypocrite.

I've showed by these threads that smaller is easier for the corporations to buy and influence and all you've done through your ignorance is prove me correct.

Taking that statement from me out of context, over and over, just shows me you have the mentality of FLAKESnews.

Now you would please answer the breitbart question?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I guess I posted something from a site that you deemed a Breitbart site. Oh boy, big mistake there!!

How did you try to get snyder recalled? By voting for the shithead Demcrat who was running against him? Well, after voting for a war criminal in November, who cares right?

Consolidation is the language of corporations. Its the language of power. Its the reason the USA is attempting to take over EVERY aspect of the planet.

Fuck the feds and fuck the states. Look where your beliefs have gotten you. A royal mess. Why didnt Monsanto go state to state with their bullshit last week? Because its much easier to go to one place and do it. Are you really this dumb? Its hard not to insult you when you speak like this, because there is no way you can possibly believe it.

" I'm not running for anything, but if Murdock wants to give me some cash, I'll take it."

Tell me how that is taken out of context. The context was Obama accepting ALEC money.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

It wasn't a guess. You did post it, and that wasn't really a response top why you did......

Just like you posted links to the John Birch Society.

ooooooohhhh you said fuck again.

Loser.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

" I'm not running for anything, but if Murdock wants to give me some cash, I'll take it."

This is what those who want change are up against:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlEg3nLguOs

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

It's still out of context.

You should probably look that up.

http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/news/federal-judge-criticizes-florida-sheriff-for-pepper-spray-violence-against-juvenil

Now that's local.

Now about your love of breitbart?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Its not out of context, it shows how you think. You are the ass that is the problem.

A link from somewhere doesnt show anything. You stating you would accept money from Murdoch speak volumes as to the type of creep you really are.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

It sure is. Way out of context. I take it you didn't bother to look up the term?

How about an answer for your use of links to the John Birch Society?

What context did you use those in?

How about response to the link I just provided?

Are you afraid of the truth?

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Really? Please explain the context.

Let me guess, you wont? Im shocked.

Get off your fat ass and go do something. Stop assuming people are ignoring Michigan when its your own backyard and you have absolutely ZERO things to post on that you helped out with. None. Nada. Zilch.

But you would have no problem accepting money from Murdoch. Or claiming a link about troops being deployed by the ALEC backed war criminal you helped to elect, is from god knows where, even thought its been verified to be true.

What you got shooz? Time to put up or shut up once and for all?

WHAT DO YOU DO IN MICHIGAN?

And if it isnt anything, at least stop accusing others of ignoring the problems that you obviously are. You expect me to drive 20hours to a protest when you could just drive 2? how the hell is that fair?

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Now I have a fat ass?????

And you expect me to respond as though you have anything at all worthwhile to say?

You got nothin'.

Nothin' at all.

at this point I feel like responding in kind, but you're just not woth it.

You have added NOTHING to what is happening in Florida and you bring nothing but insults.

Enjoy your hypocrisy. It must be nice for you.

[-] -1 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

I just told you want happened with that stadium, straightened you out.

[-] 2 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

Only in the vacuum of your mind.

You really do enjoy your hypocrisy, don't you?

Another look, for those of you that missed it.

http://www.opednews.com/Quicklink/How-The-Koch-Brothers-Use-in-General_News-130401-141.html

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

The reply showed people taking action and reversing course, on their own.

Without the help of government leaders.

Which you have shown to not like. Thats fine. Take a look around.

Who has the answers? Your government or you? Honestly, I would rather put my marbles in your cup than the gov of the Michigan of the Feds.

[-] 0 points by OTP (-203) from Tampa, FL 11 years ago

Um, that novel was from 1957 and has been in thousands of classrooms. This isnt news.

News would be you showing something that you. specifically, did in the last year. That would be news.

[-] -1 points by shoozTroll (17632) 11 years ago

This is so wrong, I don't know how to explain it. It's just teabagge(R) evil(sic).

Michigan..100% owned and operated by democrats. A financial mess...the great liberal experiment...a complete fucking disaster.

Seeing this...ignorant asshole liberals like shooz point the finger at republicans.

Peckish indeed, punky. Peckish indeed.

Do you have links to any of this?
