I heard someone suggest that #OWS needs to hold press conferences of some sort. I think that daily press briefings would not be unreasonable.
Public perception of #OWS is being dominated by images (often unfavorable) and the opinions of pundits and politicians. I think it's quite disastrous.
People who have visited and described the high level of coordination of the movement have little to back that up. And the same is true of those seeking to discredit the movement. It's essentially a lot of gossip.
From the outside #OWS seems like a series of tactics and not a strategy to effect true change.
I think that you need to elect spokespeople that coordinate with the MSM and alternative outlets.
The way messaging is being handled is just not cutting it. We've got to do better.
