The change of menu selections supplied by the "gourmet" food suppliers from gourmet selections to rice & beans is a perfect metaphor for this socialist movement. The people who control the resources (restaurateur volunteers in this case), decide it's "not fair" the homless are getting on line for their food. The food was not intended for them. So the whole society must be reduced to a lower standard of living by eating rice & beans. Perfect LOL!
