OWS: Congress wants to ignore these protests. It's not affecting them and they feel the winter season will take it's toll soon.

Please seriously consider this: what I witnessed and participated in during the 60's; a consolidated effort on the Capital. Embracing and trying to incorporate the Truckers and transit unions would seriously get attention. THIS would affect those that have given the power to Wall Street...THE CONGRESS!

Shut down the beltway, make those arrogant elected officials understand the voice of the people; those who they wish to ignore.

During the 70's, on the issue of price increase of gasoline, the TRUCKERS really put a kink into things in D.C. and across the Nation. I would recommend getting with Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. and working in concert on a coordinated effort.

I wish my health was better, I'd be out there once again to GIVE 'EM HELL! I'm with you and so are my prayers.

A March on the Nation's Capitol would get to the very elected officials who have created, through regulations or lack thereof, the very situation that we are faced with today. It would also be a very Historical event. Consolidate the people for a massive March on Washington! And Flex the Muscles!!!

There are 535 members of Congress. All have local offices in their home districts.

235 current members of Congress voted, in 1999, for S-900 the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999. That law is singularly responsible for the economic collapse of America in 2008.

We do not have to get people to travel to Washington. Not until the spring at least. We can get people to protest at the offices of these members of Congress who, in 1999, voted to license Wall Street to rape and pillage America's middle-class.

Here is a compilation of the current members of Congress who vote to deregulate Wall Street.

The entire Occupy movement should come down to DC and camp in Anacostia Park, site of the original Bonus March Encampment in 1932. Do what the Bonus Marchers did. Set up a clean, formal encampment. I'm sure there are enough sponsors who will pay for potties and showers.

Then, every day, all those at the encampment should get up at 6:30 a.m. and march down Maryland Avenue to the Capitol and spend the day visiting their Senators and Representatives. Every day until they get something done, like a nationwide Section 8 subsidy program so that everyone pays 1/3 of their monthly income for housing.

Let's get organized, Fellow Workers!

It truly is congress at the root of our issues. The men and ladies who represent each other and their wealthy cronies and the Corporations who ply them with excessive lobbying, insider reading information, keeping the rich RICH and the heck with the rest of us... POWER CORRUPTS. Time to update the checks and balances to force some ethics on our elected officials .... How about we find one ethical congressperson to push through a few reform initiatives and build on that ??? Congress is the true target, there's too much power there. Why don't they represent the 99 percent ?????

Yes, we need to march on Washington, D.C. We need to rally in front of the White House, we need to storm the White House if Obama will not respond to our demands. Don't be afraid that the Feds in protection of POTUS will not use rubber bullets.
