Pursue justice; guide the oppressed; uphold their rights and their cause. Your rulers are rebels, associates of thieves; they love bribes and chase after gifts; they deny the people their rights and the people's cause is never heard. Moneylenders strip my people bare, and usurers lord it over them. Open your indictment against the elders and officers of the people. In their houses are the spoils taken from the poor. Woe to those who add house to house and join field to field, until everyone else is displaced. I tell you great houses will be brought to ruin, fine mansions left inhabited. Woe to those who enact unjust laws and draft oppressive edicts, depriving the poor of justice, robbing the weakest of my people of their rights and plundering and despoiling them.. Rise up! March against those whose only thought is to pillage and plunder and destroy. From the least to the greatest among them, from their priests to their prophets, all they seek is profit and greed. Wear the belt of justice and truth, defend the humble and the poor. Cry out, shout aloud, sound the call to battle. Right is might against which they fight. Their rod will be broken and life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness will ring true for all. Listen! It is the thunder of vast numbers of people on the march!
