there wont be any need at all for unskilled labor. 3 Dimensional printing will bring manufacturing back to the US, BUT NOT MUCH NEED FOR UNSKILLED LABOR. i went to a biomedical fabrication plant today where cad cam tech and amazing 3d printer were making teeth and body parts and metallic parts for machines. Dental crowns are being milled outof composite materials, 900 a day, without need for a dental technician. 3D printers were making joint parts and pieces of bones to match tissue lost to disease or injury. About 3 hours for a human femur to be EXACTLY replicated. Humans fabbing these things have a 50 micron tolerance. Machines can get to 5 microns. There is literally no need for any human assistance at all. The machines are so clever, they know when they are wearing down and are programmed to adjust for their own imperfections.

3D printing will replace 100s of thousands of workers worlwide.
