International Human Rights Day is December 10th... I would like to start a discussion over making this THE day that brings all the uprisings/occupations around the world together for the one thing that I personally would hope everyone can agree on WORLDWIDE: Equality.. I am thinking much farther than that... how about no paycheck... How about no money of any kind... Does it truly serve any purpose toward the preservation of our species (and certainly has no benefit to any other species!!)? How does anything born of or produced from this planet belong to any one of us over another? One could even argue that we owe almost everything we have today to the collective knowledge of every human since our very evolution. How can any one person claim rights to that (the collective knowledge of society) or any piece of it. Money throughout history has done nothing but centralize power and give control to whomever can accumulate more of it. The world will be a better place eliminating money.I know it is a hard concept to grasp, but take 15 minutes just to IMAGINE the possibility and I think you would see at least the logic of the problems it would eliminate (Poverty, Hunger, War, Crime, Illicit Drugs, Greed, Envy I could go on and on....) even if you do not think it is practical...
