Why haven't all elected officials and CEO's volunteered themselves a pay cut? I'm very sure they can survive on less. Get all the greedy yahoos that sold out this country out of here and start over. Will we struggle for ten years, yes. At the end of the ten years, though, you will see a much stronger US people. Too bad Washington and CEOs seem only interested in themselves and not the huge masses of misrepresented people in this country. Now if they start talking tariffs on imports to slow the trade deficit and make American products more competitive that would be a start, but let's see some action in congress about jobs and not the continued destruction of women's rights. Are they that clueless that they can't see the hole they are digging for themselves?

Tens of millions of jobs have been lost overseas, the American people being sold out. How can anyone expect a nation to be healthy when our legs have been cut off right from where we stand? You can't expect a population to make half their normal pay in shorts amount of time and expect good things to happen (this is not Disney Land). Corporations and policy makers need to be made accountable for the destruction they have created! Both political parties are guilty. The real question becomes, which party will truly defend the American people (the 99%) as a whole? Short term band-aids are no solution. Long term solutions will hurt, but if we all don't suck it up now for the next ten years, there will be nothing left in this country worth fighting for!
