Seriously, I think the tea-party now accounts for the majority of all posts on this forum lol. Rush Limbaugh probably told them to do it :P

I'm not sure it's the Tea Party. I recognize most of the "arguments" as Libertarian because I was a Libertarian for over 20 years but I'm not sure the Tea Party is primarily Libertarian. And Libertarians actually taking training classes in which they learn how to flood open boards, talk shows, etc. with their carefully constructed sound-bite "arguments just like they're doing here.

It's kind of pathetic. I've heard the arguments dozens and dozens and dozens of times. I've even made many of them myself but they never change. They just memorize them like cultists memorize slogans that shut down their thought processes and close off their minds.

the original tea party was very libertarian and against crony capitalism.

the OWS that are against capitalism period are morons, the ones against crony capitalism have their heads on straight.

libertarians and OWS may disagree on solutions, but at least they want to have the dialogue. i am a libertarian and i think the OWS people i have talked to need to examine some of the problems i've spoken to with them a little deeper and see how government has changed things.

i have no idea what you're talking to in regards to training classes and sound boards and talk shows and crap. the only stuff i've heard about that is israel having an online propaganda league and the white house for a short while (during health care reform debates iirc) encouraging people to report things like inaccurate information or something like that. which i think was heavily abused as a joke until they took it down.

Dude, this is the best forum to get out the message of weed. The weed smokers of the protest need somewhere to go to get informatino on weeed overdoses and smoker's pits. We are being discriminated against because o our weed convictions! This isn't trolling! This is SMOOOKIN!

There is a serious flaw with the design of this forum, which is essentially a message board. Some of us have moved over to a proper phpbb based forum so we can participate in serious discussions without interference of trolls. Trolls just want to tear down ANYTHING positive. You have to feel sorry for them, really. They're eaten up inside with negativity and hate.

Libertarians are Americans too. Most likely part of the 99% as well. I don't like their desire to eliminate the social safety net. But, I think that if we could agree that eliminating the Federal Reserve Bank is good for everyone, we should work with them on this one goal.

Libertarians are the followers of a mentally ill woman (Ayn Rand) who was eaten up with hate for anyone she perceived as "lesser" than herself -- she was a troll of the highest order.

If trolls didnt have a place to feed theyd starve, and thats just a sad thought. Think of the starving trolls and their troll families.

You can't make a public forum and not expect trolls. They have to have SOMEWHERE to take shelter. We should graciously allow them to stay.

Not Rush, they are paid.

Yeah these guys are a little strange. Very few of them are offering direct opposition.

Everybody's definition of "troll" is relative. Some people here think that I'm a troll. But here, proof that I'm not. Part of my public service.
