Hi all, been following this in awe from the West coast and trying to figure out what a next step might look like. My thought is that if every OWS GA member could organize a GA in their home neighborhoods, you might get a lot more people who have a place to vent their anger and take action. I'm thinking something like protests in front of local bank branches or organize neighbors to pull their money from big banks and go to credit unions or community banks. If every GA member got even 10 neighbors involved the movement would grow quickly and become more personal and visible to everybody. Even if it's just one GA a week, people would stil feel more involved and hopefully become more committed. I realize this would not be possible for all GA members but I think it would be worth a try for many of you.
