A local fight that could set off a national precedent!! Almost everyone of 25,000 workers from a Massachusetts grocery chain back their George Bailyesque ceo and customers support them by refusing to shop there... 9 greedy shareholders want to cut back and sell out employees and consumers in favor of bigger profits...says one worker "this is about bringing decency back to the USA and taking back the middle class" link below...their delivery drivers refused to deliver goods, shelves are empty, and customers who know prices will be raised to the highway robber barren prices of the other two chains vow to boycott! http://www.slate.com/articles/business/moneybox/2014/07/market_basket_protests_why_grocery_workers_are_rallying_around_their_ceo.html

The company is losing ten million dollars per day but they stand to pocket billions more by cutting staff to inflate their value to sell to the highest bidder..workers and the public say no we've had enough with mergers, downsizing, and greed! http://www.gofundme.com/bzt0qk help support the drivers who are putting their necks on the line to protect what is good about America

This chain is one of the only family owned chains still left, their prices are lower than all other grocery stores and many middle class and low income families can not afford the other chain's monopoly prices...the new ceo 's want to price set and sell out but the workers are not going to let it happen they want their ceo back and the public does as well! This is our fight! We are all Market Basket!

Excellent. Yes, a "National Precedent".
