Just thought Dluvian Armor, would show their support, by whipping up a little something for the 2nd/3rd & 4th gen iPod touch - iPhone 4/4s - Ipad etc, to celebrate the occupation!
Dluvian Armor Loves you guys, keep up the good work!
Just to recap, these are not for sale. If we get some sort of approval from NY, we may offer a limited edition run, with anything above operating costs going to various occupies around the states.
How much are you selling them for?
These particular ones arent for sale, just made to support Occupy. We are thinking about offering them, and donating some of the proceeds to the various occupies that need the money the most, but we really havent dicussed it to any extent yet.
Profiting from Occupy?
Do you always just make assumptions?
Sure, especially when you reproduce a logo which is already copyrighted.
First, its not the logo, its similar in that its a fist.
Second, to answer your question, No they are not for sale, we are not profiting. If they were ever for sale, anything above operating costs would go to various Occupies evenly. Not every one is trying to profit, some people actually do support it, and will show support in various ways.
Your phrase " We are thinking about offering them, and donating some of the proceeds" was confusing but you understand that a community that prides itself on ridding itself of capitalist motivations and of spreading the wealth may not be receptive to paying for anything.
Totally understand where you are coming from. I only disagree that occupy hasnt stated whether or not it is protesting to rid ourselves of capitalist motivations. Corporate Greed, Fiscal Accountability maybe, but I highly doubt getting rid of capitalism all together.
Anyways, if it were ever for sale, I would go through the proper channels first, and money would be given to the occupies, so no need for further discussion.
Regards
That's pretty cool. Too bad I don't own an iGadget; I try to avoid stuff made in China.
TY. Yeah, the best we could do was make the armor in America, using American material (3m). It would be nice if the igadgets themselves were made in America (Something that is absolutely possible). Thanks for the compliment :)
